so is no one going to bring up this theory about the ending of the last episode. Joe's mum left him, right? Put him into the foster care/group home system because she 'wasn't good for him right now' or whatever. Joe gets nightmares frequently throughout the season that are ripe with memories of his mother. Through the fence, you just see hands and blonde hair. And a wedding ring. Here's me theory, based on the visible facts (the hands looking like that of an older woman's, the wedding ring and her voice clearly talking to someone else. It's his fucking mother. He set it up so he could finally murder his fucking mother.
