“She’s quite like our mom when it comes to that,” Jordi replied. He never spoke about his mom much, but Tobias knew a little about Jordi’s relationship with his mother. 

“Oh yeah?” Tobias asked, raising a brow. Jordi so rarely talked about his family outside of his sisters, “Well that’s pretty cool. How often do you tell her that? Don’t think people like getting compared to their parents that much,” He tried to joke.

Sofìa couldn’t help her laughter, “Right? Has no one’s parents taught them how to use their manners? It’s literally the first thing on my list to teach my daughter. She will not be going anywhere until she knows how to say please and thank you, and mean it.” She said with a shake of her head. “It’s like people don’t think they have to because they’re paying for it but… We’re still getting it for them.” 

“Sounds like she’s in good hands. What’s her name?” Tobias asked, simply making conversation, “They probably thank themselves when they make their own coffee or expect a thank you when making it for others in their home so why can’t they thank other people?” He paused, “I talk as if there aren’t good customers though. There are some gems out there.”

“You don’t have to,” Tobias said, “If you’re not sure about it, we can just press the button again.”

“If I had a dollar every time someone says please and thank you in a day I’d have maybe like... five dollars.”
