Matt’s arm went around Teddy’s shoulder and he gave the man a firm yet affection side hug before laying a big ol’ smooch against his temple. “You definitely will. I have a feeling you’ll find wherever food’s served. Coffee, too.” Laela has a way of gravitating to those two things, unless she was on the beach then she’d be tucked into some book while the world did it’s thing around her. “Wrangled. Hog tied. Really roped me in, man. She’s truly a remarkable woman and we’re barely making our relationship known, actually.” He’d seen Teddy around the Rossi’s in passing and knew the prince was familiar with him, though he doesn’t know anything about their history. “Why not eat and drink at the same time? Partially responsible but not so much you’re depriving yourself of a good drink.” He steered his friend in one direction. Then another. Truly unable to figure out where he wanted to start. Matt decided food first and led them there. “You’re with me for awhile. We can grab some things and take it to the beach. Movies are playing there throughout the day, a few I added from my personal movie vault.” They spoke of movies awhile back and he thought Teddy would get a kick out of that. “Lets see…it’s dark now so they scarier movies should’ve started.”
A warm smile masked the confusion that sparked in the prince’s expression for a fraction of a second at Matt’s description of his girlfriend— there was a familiarity in it and he found himself almost too curious to wait to sort out who it was on his own time. Surely Matt wouldn’t mind telling him outright if he asked? “I’ve never been all that good at guessing games personally— who is the lucky woman? I can’t say I know everyone on the island by any means but I might know her. Congratulations, either way! I’m mostly curious,” He admitted, a soft laugh rumbling in the back of his throat as Matt steered them one way and then another before he seemed to settle on a proper direction to lead them. It was remarkable to him how at ease he felt in Matt’s company considering they hadn’t known one another very long but Teddy found their personalities to be quite similar, at least as far as he could tell, and he was positive that might have had something to do with it. “Did you? What did you bring out of your vault for this? I haven’t done much to sit and watch any of them for a long time but I’m certainly a fan of horror movies. Halloween movies. Whichever term suits them better.”
