Happy New Years (cautious)
@unalienablerights said: maybe the real beefoven250 celebration was everyone becoming grumpier, having worse hygiene, and yearning to go outside on solitary walks in nature to escape other people
this year we pay homage to beethoven by becoming isolated and weird and working from home in messy apartments
my dad: why is your apartment a mess, why are your dishes all unwashed and why are your clothes on the floor
me, about to invent a new way of celebrating beethoven day: oh haven’t you heard?
resurrecting this dumb account on this dumb website, hope I didn’t miss anything

It’s said that the composer Gustav Mahler was sitting in his studio completing a new piano piece. As he was playing, one of his students came into the room and listened quietly. At the end of the piece the student said, “Maestro, that was wonderful. What is it about?” Mahler turned to him and said, “It’s about this,” and he played it again.

Remember, everyone has a role to play in this crazy thing we call life. Not everyone is a doctor, but everyone can make a difference.

callout post for myself
- never sleeps when I need to - cries at anything - fakes positivity - spends money impulsively - requires constant validation - clumsy, can’t go a day without spilling something - laughs at own unfunny jokes
