Taissa felt heat pour over her face as Gillian sunk two of her slender fingers into her core. She couldnât deny that the feeling was missed, putting her pleasure in the hands of someone else, especially since that person was Gillian. Her chest rose and fell against Gillian, who she clung to, soft whimpers escaping her lips as she nuzzled into the crook of her neck. âFuck,â furrowing her brow she rolled her hips, fingers moving down to grip at Gillianâs waist, squeezing onto her as she focused on the feeling of her fingers. âI want you to fuck me.â Letting her head roll back she made room for Gillian, savoring the way her lips felt against her skin, how they made heat stir up inside of her. âBut take your time.â She teased, biting her lower lip, concealing the smirk that began to form there.Â

âMm, Iâm not sure if thatâs the only option but sure,â Dulcie joked and took her pinky. âIs it a cute cat though? Like whatâs itâs name?â
âItâs the worst option, thatâs why I know that if the words ever come out of my mouth that Iâve gone too far, and need someone to snap me out of it.â Taissa grinned and wrapped her pinky finger tightly around the other girls. âI havenât settled on a name yet. I was thinking Iâd learn more about his personality first.âÂ
sodapopscott·:
âOkay, maybe I used the wrong word here. I was just trying to say youâre one of the most lovable people I know, even when you are down or things are getting to you. Itâs just⊠your energy, I guess. You give off the vibes that other people are drawn towards. But Iâm glad you have the cat. If you want someone to actually talk back instead of listening though you know Iâm here. Heâs probably way better at asking the right questions but I can guarantee I give better pats on the back.â
âI definitely know what youâre trying to say, and I wonât disagree because itâs something that Iâm pretty conscious about. I just figure why treat anyone differently? Iâve been treated differently about all sort of things that are out of my control, and I know how much it sucks. I just like to treat everyone the same.â Taissa felt herself running at the mouth and punctuated what she had to say with a shrug. âYou know Iâm never going to turn down a chance to talk to you, or spend time with you, or you know... just stare at you.âÂ
sodapopscott·:
âYouâre like the most outgoing person I know. Hey, Iâm just trying to follow your train of thought here. But please, do us both a favor and have higher standards than that. I donât think I can be believable if I have to pretend to like someone who spends more time with cats than people. We both know Iâm a dog person.â
âI have my moments, you know... you canât be outgoing all the time. Sometimes you just have to be human, let things get to you now and then. Donât you worry a hair on your pretty little head though, thatâs what the catâs for. Heâs actually more like my mini therapist, he can listen to my problems and meow once for âI seeâ and twice for âHow does that make you feelâ but you know, if he doesnât pull it off maybe Iâll have to go adopt a dog too.âÂ
itsgillianstupidâ:
âIs that a promise?â Before she could say anything else Gillianâs lips were on her own, kissing them with a mercilessness that made her skin flush to match the color of her very pink underwear. Her hands pulled at Gillianâs shirt, eager to remove some of the barriers between them, craving the warmth of bare skin against her own feverish flesh. With a soft whimper she rolled her hips into Gillianâs digits, the pressure against her bundle of nerves sending exquisite electricity coursing through her veins. âFuck, Gilly.â

âI promise.â Scott linked his finger with hers, giving it an added squeeze for good measure. âMaybe you should leave that detail out when it comes to meeting new people though. Unless youâre trying to look for cat⊠daddy types. I canât believe I just said that without cringing.â
She squeezed his back but only for a quick moment, letting him go almost as soon as they touched. âCute that you think that I meet new people.â Taissa clenched her jaw as she looked at him, clearly very distraught by his use of the word. âNever in my life have I wanted to spontaneously lose hearing until now, itâs official youâve gone too far.âÂ

âIâm nothing if not an on brand guy, for better or for worst.â Tate gave her a small shrug, she didnât say it like it was a bad thing or anything and he knew Tai well enough that she wasnât the kind of person to judge in general. âItâs like a fool proof ice breaker. We all have our priorities.â He joked, âSo youâve got a cat now. Youâve got to celebrate that with likeâŠa pet smart shopping spree and a special screening of Garfield: A tale of two kitties.âÂ
âDefinitely, very on brand, thatâs real dedication.â She wrinkled her nose as she smiled at him, her hand reaching out to gently play with the small cats tail, his hind legs kicking at her hand playfully in response. âHmm, yeah but isnât smoking and marijuana like super illegal in some countries? Iâd really hate to wake up and find out youâre stuck in prison in another country one day.â Glancing up from the ground she looked into his eyes and gave him a genuine smile. âIs that the second one, or first?âÂ
chanelhcrcwitz·:
âYeah, we definitely do.â Chanel nodded, as sheâd missed Tai like she couldnât even put into words but she was back and that meant that her group was finally back. And Chanel intended on being there for them, through it all. Whether it was giving Tai advice when it came to her new cat or being there when she needed her shoulder to cry on. âI highly doubt thatâs whatâs going on here.â Chanel scoffed, playing rolling her eyes until she found herself in front of Tai. âAnd Iâm not?â She asked Tai, looking back at her. âExcuse you.â Chanel got down to her knees, looking under Taiâs bed to call for the cat cause she wanted to see her new addition. Not just that, but Chanel liked to think she had a way with cats so maybe sheâd get him to come out.Â
Taissa had used Chanel as a shield simply for an excuse to hug and hold onto her friend, smiling into her shoulder she glimpsed over her to the underneath of the bed where her new cat had been hiding. âOh, pardon.â She laughed as she released her and moved aside so she could sit down on the floor beside Chanel. She peaked beneath the bed to find the small bundle of fur happily grooming himself, his eyes stopping to peer in their direction, stunned. âHe looks like heâs gonna come out here and eat the both of us for dinner.â She joked, her voice barely above a whisper like maybe he might hear her and get spooked.Â

Gillianâs relationship with Tai wasâŠcomplicated. At one point she was her best friend, hell sheâd lived with her and then she left, which Gillian didnât fault her for, but every time someone exited her life who she let enter maybe a whole wall didnât go up, but certainly a few bricks. But Tai came back sort of, and Gillian was still figuring out how to regard her, this person she knew but didnât at the same time. Physical stuff though, that was easier territory to navigate; that she could do without thinking, âIâm not shaming, I can absolutely be into that.â Gil moved in closer, her lips barely a whisper away, âHey.â She said before she closed the almost miniscule gap between them and kissed the girl full on, cupping her face with both hands.
âHi.â Complicated was definitely one way to define Taissaâs relationship with Gillian. At one point she had felt inseparable from Gillian, and although time had passed, a lot of time, it felt like not a day had gone by when it came to them. At least not for Taissa. She lifted a hand to Gillianâs cheek and traced her cheekbone slowly with the soft pad of her thumb. Reaching up towards her ear she tucked an errant strand of brown hair behind her ear before leaning into kiss Gil. As soon as their lips touched there was a spark of fire that jumped between them and there was no denying how invigorated by their kiss Tai felt.Â

âThatâs awesome.â Tate giggled, thinking about the sight of the cat curled near Tai with a little mouse toy between his paws. He scratched behind the little guyâs ear again, then shrugged as he looked back up at her, âI have my moments like anyone else I guess.â He smiled at her genuinely, the way he usually did. Tai didnât usually ask him much about himself, so the question sort of caught him off guard, but in a good way. âIn Thai, letâs seeâŠUhh I know how to say khuáč xyÄk sÌĆ«b buhÌrÄ«Ì hÌá»mâ He smirked, âDo you smoke? Itâs like the first thing I learn in every language I know.â He laughed at that, âItâs a real important question.â
âIt was.â Quietly she watched him with the small animal, he was gentle and sweet with him just as she knew Tate was with every person and animal that crossed his path. He was such a good person, and it both uplifted and intimidated her. âThat would be the first thing youâd learn.â She teased. âIâm sure it comes in handy when it comes down to making new friends. âI think the firs thing Iâd learn is âWhereâs the bathroomâ but thatâs just me.âÂ
chanelhcrcwitz·:
âAnd honestly, I donât know which one of us would be more affected by that. Because like, believe it or not, like I really need my Taissa time. I just do.â Chanel let her best friend know, laughter leaving her lips. Honestly, that was the very reason she loved her time with Taissa. Nothing was every serious with her best friend, she provided her with a moment where she could just be as goofy as she wanted to be. She really loved that about their dynamic. âOh, that sounds about right.â Chanel nodded, that was very much a cats thing. âStop it, heâs just getting accustomed to his new epic place. Youâre going to see, once he gets comfortable, youâre never going to be able to get him off of you.â Chanel told her best friend.
âI would be hurt if you didnât.â She teased. âI went away for ages, we still have so much lost time to make up for, me vanishing again isnât in the picture.â While things were often very light hearted with Taissa it was because she found it difficult to be vulnerable, even with her closest of friends. Being the happy, bubbly person that everyone remembered was so much easier. âHeâs getting accustomed to the darkness, what if heâs half cat half vampire? Iâm in danger.â Tai pulled her best friend in front of her like a human shield. âIâm too young to die.âÂ

âHaving hope that what? Iâll fight you? Not a chance.â Gillian nodded slowly, knowing what was up with Tai wanting to hang out once her eyes flickered to her mouth. Panic wasnât really something Gillian liked to remember. The whole thing had bad news written on it, and that was all but confirmed after she had to you know, help Tai not die. âAnd I have a feeling that you just want my body on yours, which is cool with me, but this fighting thing, is that a new kink of yours orâŠ?â She asked, teasing the girl as she moved closer into Taiâs personal space and messed with the ends of her hair.
Taissa regarded Gillian with brows knitted together. Slowly, deliberately, she gave her a dissecting once over before laughing. âIt would sure make for interesting foreplay though, wouldnât it?â The sudden change in Gilliansâ energy, from brassy to sauntering seductress, excited Taissa.âAnd so what if it were, you really donât seem like the type to kink shame anyone.â She took a bold step forward, closing the space between then as she took hold of Gillianâs waist. âYou rub me as more of an experimental type.â Â

âNah, youâre no dummy so you donât really need that.â Tate smiled, thinking Taiâs spontaneous adoption was sweet, âSo it was love at first sight huh?Well⊠the Turkish word for eyes is gözler. Göz would be a pretty dope nickname too. In Thai itâsâŠâ Thai wasnât his most well spoken language, so Tate thought a moment to make sure he was right, âTÄ. Kind of a strange nickname but Tai and TÄ sounds kinda cute together. Or you know, whatever you want since heâs yours.âÂ
âI donât know. I have my moments just like anyone else, but it was love at first sight, as soon as I spotted him. He was curled up in his little cage with this little toy mouse in between his paws, it was the cutest thing.â Taissa found it incredibly impressive how well spoken Tate could be, she always knew he was special but whenever he opened his mouth he always made her feel like maybe she took him for granted when they were younger. âYou know a lot about different languages donât you?â She thought aloud, her countenance facing his as she gave him an impressed smile. âWhat else can you say in Thai?â

âLife isnât fucking fair, you have to learn that sooner or later. Besides, full on body slams arenât really my style anyway. Iâm more of a lover than a fighter.â Gillian raised an amused eyebrow in Taiâs direction as she watched the girl roll her shoulders, âOooh sheâs threatening me now⊠kind of wanna see where this goes⊠I might not be a fighter but Iâm pretty sure you arenât either. So Iâm thinking I could take you on if I have to.â Â
âI have learned that, multiple times, but that doesnât stop me from having hope. Anyways, you always say that youâre a lover but Iâm not feeling the love, Gilly.â She put on her best pout as she stared in the others direction, her eyes finding themselves flickering between Gillianâs eyes and mouth. âI could be a fighter, itâs not like I havenât done it before, I survived Panic. I think Iâll be able to survive a tiny little skirmish with you. I have a feeling youâd take it easy on me anyways.âÂ

âHonestly, th-thatâs the first thing I thought to myself once I stopped to actually l-look at the thing. Itâs like⊠why?â Tom asked the woman besides him, as they both now just stared at the painting thatâd ended up in his possession. âS-Someone must have really loved their dog. Thatâs for sure.â Tom told her with a small laugh. âA-Actually, no.â Tom turned the painting over, and just like sheâd suspected⊠there were signs of someoneâs responsibility for this piece of art.  âWell, thereâs an J.H. back here. No date though.â Tom said with a shrug, before turning it back. âOh, I-I-I really hope thatâs n-not the case. M-My life is already p-plenty exciting as is, a h-haunting just isnât need right now.âÂ
She wasnât surprised to see the initials drawn onto the back of the canvas, it had to have been someoneâs handy work, but who was J.H. Taissa was by no means that Nancy Drew type, but she did have an imaginative and curious mind, and this painting was lighting up her neocortex. âWhen is haunting ever really needed?â She remarked with a shrug, âThose people on ghost and haunting shows never seem enthusiastic about having hauntings, theyâre always trying to figure out ways to get rid of them. Anyways, how bad could a ghost dog be?â
