i thought that i'd share with you something that happened recently. noon heard my mom say your name when i was on a facetime call with her. he perked up so fast and actually started whining while attempting to get to my phone. needless to say he misses you, a lot. @tcmhlld
noon still missing me? i mean i miss noon too, so even if she won't fully understand tell her i'm missing her cute self. she is the best girl and one day maybe you will have to see if you can get her to set and i'll get to see her and surprise her.
Everyone is gearing up for award season and I'm just glad that I'll be watching from the comfort of my couch cause suits? Not my thing. Dressing up is too much effort. Are you going to be going to any of the award shows? @tcmhlld
suits aren't that bad, though maybe it's because i'm in them more often than some people. it's a good time though, award season. mean won't you be going to the grammy's? they're pretty fancy from what i remember. honestly typically i go to at least one of the shows or the parties being thrown during the shows.
Even though I've been on tour for the past couple of years, and getting to travel all over the world - I've still been feeling a bit disconnected. But I feel like you've also kind of disappeared. Where's all the Tom Holland projects, huh? @tcmhlld
i'm sure it's a bit of a shock to the system, having to adjust back into every day life, figure out all you've missed out on. even if you heard things you were more focused on your job. which is how i felt with marvel with several movies back to back. all the tom holland projects? they're coming? i took a year off from the film industry and i've started to dip my toes into thing when i took a theatre show in london for awhile and now about three in the works, one of them being a spiderman movie, and then i was lucky enough to be cast in a telling of the odyssey, which i'm really excited about that cast. what have you been doing since you've wrapped tour?
zendaya knew that their relationship was not typical. normally when you broke up with someone, you didn't have to see them again. she had known that it was inevitable that she'd be on another project with him. though she knew already that her part in the fourth spiderman was not going to be huge. however, she had been blind sided when she realized that tom had been cast in christopher nolan's new project. she had been doing her best to adjust to her life without tom in it. it had been her choice but it had felt like things were getting too serious for her. he had been more than understanding even if she knew she had broken both their hearts. he had been such a big part of her life for so many years. they had worked on three films together, spent months on set and then doing press. he had become part of her, like one of her limbs. deep down, she knew that she still cared for him and loved him. she was trying to take time to focus on herself. she knew that it had been a long while since they had been spotted out together. rumors had been swirling around but none had been confirmed. she almost wished she had suggested he come to her house for privacy's sake. though she knew that was possibly not a good idea. if that meant dealing with people snapping their photos, so be it. she found herself smiling as he sat down across from her," i do remember that, i'm the one who is." she shrugged, reaching for her drink to take a few small sips," i'm doing alright, i didn't get out of bed till about two after the golden globes," she admitted," but excited to get back to work, what about you?" she knew that he had taken a break from acting but he was back in the thick of it," are things good?" she hoped to god that he would say they were.
he should have known that with life, nothing went as expected. he had wanted a serious, settle down kind of life with zendaya, and maybe it had scared her? but it was always something he thought were in the cards for them, but things had changed. only thing was they were two highly sought after actors and he couldn't even pretend that he was surprised that they had both been cast in another movie together. he was sure their agents had made christopher nolan and the companies involved aware of their particular situation but the truth was, he was happy to ge the chance to work with her. not for any nefarious reasons, no, just the fact that zendaya was an amazing actress and to watch her process was always impressive. even if he knew it would be painful to have to potentially act opposite your ex, but he could do it, he could... what were the kids calling it? "fake it till you make it" yeah, tom could do that. he had managed to survive and get sober and create a whole non-alcoholic brand during an incredibly hard time, he could do this.
"you are a bit picky." his british accent thick from being back home during the holidays, it always seemed to get a bit extra after being around family. "but if that's the worst thing about you, think you're pretty much in the clear there, daya." a laugh coming from his lips, because she was one of the sweetest people he knew, and if that was one of her flaws, well, he wished that was the worst he had. "you looked beautiful.. uh, you know at the globes." was he allowed to say that? it was the truth, she had been stunning on the red carpet. "uh yeah, things are good.. yeah, you know, they're going. happy to be back into the thick of working." after taking a year off so many people had thought he wouldn't come back, that it was just something he had said to attempt to leave hollywood behind, and he had debated it. especially after his breakup with zendaya, but throwing himself into work was a godsend at the moment. "so yeah, i'm okay, is what i think i'm trying to say. really excited for this project. have a few others i'm working on."
a little unsteady || zendaya & tom
if there was one thing everyone knew about zendaya, it was that she was an overthinker. she couldn't help herself when it came down to it. that was why she found herself wondering just why she had asked tom to meet for dinner. they had agreed to meet to run lines and just make sure the chemistry they shared was still there. so why, oh why, did she suggest dinner? it didn't help that he had said yes and even offered to meet at her favorite place. she wasn't too sure how she felt about the whole thing. ever since they had called it quits, there had been radio silence. though once the news of them being cast in another project together had broke, she knew she had to reach out. she had texted him to let him know that she had arrived. she knew that maybe they should have gone to a sit down place. instead she felt the need for comfort food and for her? that meant a burrito and there was only one place she went to for those. that was los burritos which was much more casual than one would expect. she had been stopped by a few fans for a photo before going to place her order. she didn't think about what she was doing as she rattled off both hers and tom's. was that odd? she shook her head before she paid and soon the food was being handed over. she had no idea how far away he was but she went to claim the table in the corner. absently she tapped her fingers against her leg as she heard the door swing open. her breath hitched at the sight of him and she forced herself to wave to get his attention. the second that he was close, she cleared her throat," i...probably should have asked you but i ordered what you used to get when we'd come here, hope its okay?" @tcmhlld
getting together with your ex-girlfriend wasn't an easy thing, most people in fact would opt not to do this. they much rather avoid that person, never see them again, they always say an ex is an ex for a reason, but this was zendaya. it was different, it would always be different. there would be a grace he'd always give this woman who had meant so much to him for a good portion of his life, who still meant so much to him that he kept tight to his chest. the only job he had in his mind was to make sure that she was happy, and if being single was what kept her happy, then he'd suck it up and live with it. even if he had basically taken a vow of being alone after that, there was no one that could live up to someone like her. it might sound dramatic but she had shaped him into a person he never would have become if she hadn't cared and loved him as much as she had. one thing he always knew, never questioned, she had loved him at some point... now she just needed to love herself for awhile.
as he made his way towards her favorite place, you'd think it'd be some sort of over the top fancy restaurant but it was anything but. instead they were at a local burrito place that they had found randomly one night that the dark haired woman had just fallen in love with. as he arrive there was a stirring, people pulling out their phones, a sigh leaving his lips, slightly aggravated. it was the one part he hated about a public life, there was no privacy. there had been rumors of a split between the pair, neither confirmed nor denied but they weren't spotted together in quite some time, zendaya had moved back to the states and no longer frequented local british establishments as much and dots were connected. as he made his way inside, knowing that this would end up on some gossip instagram before he had barely settled in, he gave a small smile. "whatever you ordered is fine, you know i'm not picky." really her ordering his usual brought a soft smile to his lips as he took a seat, "how've you been, z?"
i really hope we don't have to! god, can you imagine? them trying to act like we don't know how to be around each other in public. we just have to have faith in our abilities. good point! it's mythical more so than historical. something new, for us! we both are clearly keeping busy. plus you have bero out, now? i have yet to try it but still. i think it's a good way to look at it, special. if you keep this up, tom, i'm going to start blushing. you don't want that now, do you? oh i know my agent talked to your agent because she had a full on panic attack when she realized we were cast. i hope the chemistry will be fine. that's why i'm asking if we can do dinner. i didn't know if you saw your family for the holidays! sure, my favorite place. what time do you want to meet?
no, can't imagine, because we don't really need the stories that would end up leaking and flying if that was the case. i don't know why people are so worried, i'm not worried, are you worried? i'm getting the feeling you might be a little worried. i think it's good to keep trying new things! how else are we going to keep expanding and growing if we don't. as much as i love marvel and the family we've all created, it's not something any of us can do forever. even if rdj is determined to go down in time with the marvel universe. you were always easy to make blush, so i can't be helped if that happens. feel like we need to tell our agents to relax a little bit. let us freak out if we need to freak out. in fact, let's not tell them because i'm not sure i want to be the reason i'm paying for their therapy suddenly. i was with family but i was flying here not long after the new year. how about we'll meet at 7? feel like we can get in without causing too much commotion.

feel like if one of us didn't bite the bullet than our management teams would have, and honestly, we shouldn't need to do that, right? well i will say congratulations on getting cast, and i do have a feeling this will be vastly different than anything we've done in marvel. i am excited to be working on it, feel like it's something different than what i've done recently. mean.. it doesn't have to be odd? we can have a good time and film together just because we dated. my agent did suggest we get together some time and maybe run some lines, make sure everything is good between us. though i don't think we'll have any issues. we're professionals.
There's going to be a few (or a lot) of tears. But I managed to get the stadium to sell tickets that basically have no view so that more people could at least experience it a little bit. Hoping to get screens out the back for everyone to be able to see it somehow, ha. Oh - Chace. I haven't caught up with him in a little bit. I should probably reach out to him and see how he's doing. I mean, you could get creative with it. Make up some whack answers about questions they ask. Keep people guessing with what the right answers are. What're you going to go on press tours for?
i'm sure fans were thrilled when you opened some more seats and put up screens so they could still enjoy every bit of the experience. i'm sure there were mom's and dad's that made their kids dreams come true with that. yeah, chace, he's great, still a good friend of mine that we try and catch up when we can. unfortuantely him and i have been on different filming schedules so it's been awhile. whack answers just bring out more questions, i've seen people do that. though i'm planning on having more fun with my upcoming press tour with marvel than i did over my last movie that was a bit more serious and i didn't want my words minced. for now though i am attempting to actually soak up the holiday time before i have to prep for any of that. feel like i don't want to jump the gun too soon. how's it feel to have wrapped tour? learning to enjoy some downtime?
i've heard that you speak multiple languages and, as someone who also speaks multiple, i have to ask... with being an influencer do you ever get people who are weird and ask you to say things in another language? because i definitely have an sometimes i debate my life choices when i actually follow through with it. apparently there's something about romanian that drives people crazy. tell me i'm not the only one getting weird requests like that. @cinkiimberly
going to go ahead and put this out there, i'm well aware you spent the last several months growing a whole human and that's kept you pretty busy but i'll admit it's weird not seeing something coming out in theaters that doesn't have your face in it. are you enjoying the downtime just being a new mom or are you itching to get back to work? @margotheat
I used to be in the fandom - so I know how people are with those characters. Very passionate about certain things - especially when it comes to shipping. Is there any other character you would have liked to play on the show? I always thought Tinkerbell looked entertaining. It was an interesting storyline something that I didn't expect.
used to be? are you saying you grew out of it? i didn't know that was possible for people, the ones i've met i'm pretty sure they're going to be in it till they die. not that i think it's a bad thing you're not part of it anymore. and yes i'm talking about ouat. there's also always rumors of them doing a reunion episode or something. shipping, ah, it's a weird thing sometimes but usually it's done in good fun. some are a little much. i think i rather have that than the thirst traps i somehow always end up in. i'll admit i didn't watch a lot after i left, kind of happens when you dated the main female character it gets a little awkward.
👀 what are your favorite and least favorite projects you've ever worked on?
there's not a project that is my least favorite, i've said this in interviews before. i will say i'm grateful that when i auditioned for captain america they told me i wasn't right for the part. i was not ready for the kind of craze marvel was to handle that kind of character. i, tonya was a favorite of mine, think it was really important to do that role. doing the apprentice and making sure that i'm vocal about how i feel as a romanian born immigrant has always been incredibly challenging but important to me.
