Turning his head towards the older guy that had interrupted him talking to his partner Pokemon , he couldn't help but wonder why this guy felt the need to say that aliens were that bad. Of course , Joey disagreed with this. Aliens couldn't be bad ! If you think about it , humans could be aliens to them ! What if they were just scared too ? Joey was wearing some sort of chef outfit , with his Rattata under his cap. It hurt when his partner pulled his hair like in the movie , but it was still awesome.

      Saffron’s Fighting Dojo. A proud, understated symbol of a bygone era—in more ways than one; the actual building had to be ancient but Lyra was more interested in the fact it had been operating as an unofficial gym years before the Indigo League was created. So how righteous would it be if the future Indigo Champion would challenge them for herself, prove beyond all doubt she was stronger than any trainer even associated with the league?

            Only problem was, there was no Karate Master inside to receive her challenge. 

So there she sat outside on a wall, slumped forward with her chin in her hands, trying to figure out some way she could convince some of the black belt students in the dojo to let her train there. There had to be, she didn’t want to have to turn back without at least one battle under her belt. 

She looked up as she heard the sound of footsteps approaching catching sight of a young man with brown hair making his way up to the entrance of the dojo.

     “ I wouldn’t bother, dude, ” she called out, standing up with a shrug, “ apparently the head honcho’s off on some epic soul searching journey journey so—wait a minute, ” she cut herself off suddenly, voice going higher as she stepped towards the young boy. “ Don’t I know you from somewhere? ”

" --And that's where you use hyper fang and get the win ! What do you think !? " The brunette was explaining step-by-step the strategy they would use in this fighting dojo. It shouldn't be too much of a problem , right? They were in this together thick and thin ever since he was younger , and he wasn't old enough to travel outside of this home region. That was all in the past now ! Now he was in the Kanto Region , where he was about to put himself and his partner to the test with this Fighting Dojo place ! He didn't know much about it's full history , but by the looks of it , the building seemed to have been around for a while.

Halting to a stop due to someone speaking to him , he looked over and noticed who it was. . They seemed , familiar. Like he's briefly encountered them before. Joey thought nothing of it at first however. A lot of trainers looked the same at first glance. .

" Are ya serious ?? Why did they hav'ta go on a journey now ? They could have at least put a Closed sign on the door ! " Now it just feels like he got his hopes up for nothing !! What happens now ? Should he just do the usual training on a nearby route ??
