A closed starter for @kotoyin​ :

It wasn’t unusual for his chest scar to ache as of recently, but for some reason it had acted up big time around the Melemele airport today. Was it due to the trouble that had stirred up there? He’d never know, since it had been taken care of before he could help out. His legs had carried him there without him realising, which was kinda worrying in a way. Was that part of whatever blessing this was? 

“Owwowowow...” 

He muttered to himself, leaning with his back against a tree in the shade, trying to keep his breathing steady. His chest felt like it was on fire, the pain spreading outwards, and he clutched at the general area through his shirt. Hau was so focused on the pain that he hadn’t noticed someone approaching him, but when he did see her, he let out a startled yelp. “Ack!-- ... Err, A-alola...” He waved the Alolan wave with trembling hands, trying to act natural. “Can I help you with anything?”
