Duolingo is my favorite language learning app and here's why:
English has become the world's international language. There are many apps and websites available for those wishing to learn how to speak English. Some apps and websites can be accessed for free, while others cost money.
The most popular English language learning platforms available today are Duolingo, Elsa Speak, Brainly, Busuu, Cambly, Chatterbug, Memrise, News in slow, and LinguaLift. For more platforms to learn English click here.
Duolingo is my favorite one. It's based on the concept of learning a language through comprehensible input. The goal of this app is to teach users new words of the English language through a game-like platform and motivate them to learn more. Duolingo offers courses in several languages, besides English. When completing these courses users receive points for each word or phrase they've learned. The more points they receive, the more advanced their course will be. These points are then used when ordering content on the app. The more advanced courses offer more words/phrases and are more challenging as a result. There are also bonuses for users who use Duolingo frequently.
Many people don't know this but there are conversation classes and more on the Duolingo website (https://www.duolingo.com/learn). There are paid lessons of course, but also free ones! There's also an option for teachers to create classes on it and monitor their student's progress.
If you want to compete with me on Duolingo you can find me by the username accpessoa1995. I'm currently learning French, Spanish, Italian, and Latin on the app! One of my many dreams is to become a polyglot and I'm doing my best to get there.
