*Teacup paces around in his office, having been awake for far too long. He didn’t get much sleep, the excitement and stress of new employees and the lingering nightmares of the bad things from the past keeping him awake. … that was nothing to worry about though. He was fine. He decided to step out of the office and walk down the halls to see if anyone was up and at work yet.*
“I’m getting so sick of these grey halls.. but hopefully everyone else is adjusting to them well..”
[spike found their way lost in the winding halls yet again. holding anprinted nap in one hand and on their phone with the other, they rush down the halls.
they notice someone walking down, and at the last second, they slid to a stop, right in front of teacup.]

*Teacup jumps at the sudden appearance of Spike*
O-oh-!! Uh- hello- um.. you seem to be in a rush…?
Is… everything alright?
[spike glanced at their map and phone before tucking them both away. they nodded.]
no, but i can figure it out.
[spike looks down at teacup with a weak smile, before their expression changes when they spot teacups wound.]
i, uh... learned about what happened here. are... you... okay?
*Teacup’s eyes widen.*

So you uh… you know it all, huh?
*He stands in silence for a bit before replying*
I’m… not the best, but I’m better than I have been for a while…. Also just- just to clarify, nobody uh.. nobody did this to me..
*he gestures to his cracked face where his now somewhat healed eye can only open about half*
I tripped and fell, that’s why I’m all busted up.. that was almost a year ago though…

We could probably find some blueprints for weird technologically advanced glasses somewhere, but I... Maybe you'll get used to it first. I don't know.
