I just want to say even now years later I still love RL and play it once in a while, I know yallre working slowly on MHD but yall should take your time, I think people would rather wait for a finished game than a rushed one yknow?

Yk I've been seeing lots of Grace x Bela content lately and gosh now I'm imagining Grace in the Resident Lover universe, dk how that would make sense but I imagine her being one of the students there ig?? I can't think of anything else

RL!Bela with Grace is such a cute pair now that I more abt it🥹

She'd run for the presidential spot, being Bela's opponent in the upcoming race. They'd clash over things, get competitive, but then a third contestant would run and try to ruin both of them and no one gets to ruin each other's campaign's but them. So they'd take down the third contestant and fall in love in the process.

Random question about Donna here

Was on the Resident Lover fanwiki looking at some old concept art because why not. And when I looked at some old art of Donna (Specifically the photo below) and compared it to the donna we have now. I got the feeling that the original plan for Donna's route was changed significantly. So I wanna know if that theory is true or not

And if it is what was the original concept/idea for Donna's route like?

finch would know the answer to this more, but initially the game was a lot calmer and sweeter, with no murderous cults and crazy endings. a more intense story was chosen since it'd fit the vibes of resident evil better

I'm still confused by the loop, is there any way it could be dumbed down? I am not good with complicated ideas so I've been sitting here trying to figure it out

basically miranda has trapped mc and the main love interests in a time loop. the other love interests are stuck in it due to proximity to the time loop curse. miranda is using the time loops to try and get mc and any time she messes up or mc falls for someone else, she patiently resets the loops and starts again. she and mc have been soulmates for many many years over the centuries and lived and died and found each other again.

I read somewhere on this blog that Donna is Mid-30s yet Miranda (it's been years since | did Lady D's route, so it was probably in hers too) is the only one(s) to even reference the age gap, is there any particular reason why? Did It just not fit narratively or would be redundant?

I need you to know that RL has destroyed me multiple times after I downloaded it years ago. Honestly the first time I started truly sobbing is when MC was confirmed Filipino. Like. I don't remember exactly the sentence but it was the MC talking about filipino food.

When I got to that part, I was really in the feels about being wasian and how I never got to truly connect to my roots in a meaningful way at the time. MC holds a special place in my heart and thank you (again? I think? I vaguely remember posting about this a while ago) for making another pinoy character <3

I think the game file might be too much for it to play on browser? Can't really remember why we didn't do browser but there was a reason for why we couldn't.
