A huge thank you to everyone who participated, be it as a creator or a spectator!

What comes next?
Gonna count all the submissions, note all the participants and completionists, and issue the feedback form. Then I'll make a post announcing those who want to be announced, do some tag cleaning up, and read some fics I unfortunately didn't have time to read yet.
Going to take a short break to catch back up on all my queuing, so starting Monday we'll have 2 reblogged posts, 2 re-reblogged event posts, and 1 comic screenshot.
Then it's getting ready for Unbreakable Bond Week 2026, taking place in November.

I LIED ONE MORE FOR DAY 7: FREE PROMPT an idea came to me
Charmy sat among the cold, unflinching sand, deep honey eyes gazing up to the moon above.
What is a bee to the moon? What is he in this universe? Vast, unyielding and not sugarcoating in the slightest. It’s massive, a mobian as young as Charmy has a rare chance. He gets to be surrounded by his idols, do actual good.
But how good is he if all he does is mess up, get himself hurt. Ruin things for the team.
The young boy looked back to the apartment he shared with the closest thing he’ll ever have to parents, a nearly 6ft crocodile who loves music and doesnt know what volume control is and a strong, silent chameleon who’s almost never home until just a few years ago. Theyre everything charmy wants to be.
Everything Charmy isn’t.
The sand softly shifted as the bee stood, flying up to the moon, reaching a hand out. The light shine in his eyes, pupils reflexively retracting.
The moon is important, it gives light, leads nocturnal animals, gives the water the tides and waves that make the sand just right for sandcastles.
“Charmy! It’s time for dinner! Espio’s cookin!”
…can he ever be as important as the moon?
“It’s your favorite, chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese.”
Slowly Charmy turned back to the apartment, smiling.
“Coming!”
He may not be as important as the moon.
But he can be his own moon.
@team-chaotix-week SORRY FOR NOT ENTERING THE WHOLE WEEK!!
I was looking up the meaning behind the saying, found a site that described it rlly interestingly which initially led me to make this comic n that's when killer Charmy was born <3 Original design is from Sonic Rumble :D rlly rlly love this skin I've been maining it ever since I got it hihi
'
I headcanon him turning this way as time passes, with signs increasing every now n then indicating psychotic behavior and Vector n Espio gradually growing a villainous but complex bond with Charmy tryna bring him back to his senses, not wanting to accept the fact that he's long not anymore who he used to be.
'
Note: emphasis is on the meaning behind the saying for the whole comic, not where it originates from.
It had been a fairly busy week for the Chaotix all things considered, but they didn’t have anything to do today. So with no other ideas, they defaulted back to a simple way to pass the time. Getting out the cleats, borrowing a ball, and playing some soccer.
Because they didn’t have enough people for an actual game of soccer, they instead would just mess around with the ball. They used the area between two trees as a goal. Espio managed a move that he didn’t know the name of, but he basically just did a somersault and kicked the ball in midair as he did the somersault.
Charmy tried, and after some attempts succeeded to bounce the ball on his legs. After which he then proceeded to victory dance. Then he tried to kick the ball in midair as he flew to it, but after a couple tries he gave up on that and just kicked it normally.
Vector wasn’t as agile as Charmy and Espio however, so instead of doing cool tricks, he mostly just did some dribbling and got the ball stolen from him several times. Because being smaller means you can move faster. It didn’t really matter, as it was all just for fun.
After a bit they took a water break, and Espio had the bright idea to also bring along some snacks because they were all a bit hungry after all the soccer practice.
They played until the sun was starting to set, and then they gave the ball back to the neighbor they borrowed it from. It might not have been the most eventful day, but it was still a very good day.
(I dug up the story of my tumblr pfp by the incredible montydrawsstuff. It was not very finished! This was Way more work than just writing something from scratch, but hey ho... and not totally happy with all my rewrite but it feels good to get it out there!)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RUNNING TEAM CHAOTIX WEEK!
Prologue - Calibrating Gamut
Something rattled in the darkened alley between two yards, and a nervy dog barked. Drizzle dragged the clouds to the ground; what should have been almost pitch black (#070705) was a smoggy purple (#2d203e). The ratty wooden gate to a small yard in disarray creaked - its latch had worn away long ago.
Silence, save the dog barking. And the cars in the street and the wind rattling the slats of a lean-to bathroom. Better than silence - background hubbub that assured the dull emptiness of ordinary city nights. The lights behind the windows of the house before the yard glowed golden (#f6da68), and then were obstructed. The darkness shifted with interest.
The Chameleon (#cb008d) barged the backdoor open with his hip, hands and tail grasping full bin-bags. From inside, a wash of noise erupted - jenga tiles falling, and a reptilian growl.
["You can't shake the table, Charmy!"
"You did that! Your big stupid tail knocked it all over!"]
Espio raised his leg high and flipped the top of the wheelie bin, throwing the bags on some rats. He shook his hands, and dragged it round and through the back gate for collection. The door to the house was still open. From the darkness, the heat of the herpetarium was waving the air. Despite the bright light spilling out, the darkness crept closer in quiet methodical clanks.
Espio closed the gate and attempted to latch it. The darkness sprang back from the house and lay prone. Standing in the doorway, Espio looked back into the yard; his eyes roved in the dinge, resting on something shining there. If what lurked could panic, it was surely sweating under his steely gaze.
But it didn't - it returned an even steelier one, twitching one lens.
"Espio, for god's sake don't leave the door open, it's freezing!"
Espio blinked, and his face was blank and bored.
"Thought I saw a racoon."
He slammed the janky door. The figure on the ground clanked as quietly as it could to it's cold feet, lenses facing two different directions: one roved the sky, the fence, the houses around for new information; the other trained on the figures laughing in their warm house.
I'm ending it with how I started: more fanart based on As the Garden Grows by @magiclueless, specifically some scenes from the latest chapter (65). I really appreciate the shoutout she gave, I'm honored I've been able to help her with the Chaotix and some other stuff with her fic (also proud that I've gotten Charmy to become one of her favs nyahehehe >:3). Hope it's okay I had Amy appear in one panel, I needed her for the context LOL
