I am very tied to Transmasc Espio, in fact I think I pretty much always have this in mind for him. Haven't felt I should write it though because I haven't managed to decide on my particular preferred story for this, and I always worry whether or not I am presenting him correctly in this. Every time you have ever read anything of mine, know that I intended him trans ❤️

SHADOW

I am very fond of Shadow as transfem, but like some way down the line - she needs a minute to get herself comfortable with who she is in all ways ❤️ to be specific, trans demigirl

KNUCKLES

On relationships: I think Knuckles wants to have a family of some kind because of how lonely he is up on Angel Island, but in truth I don't think he actually would be best in a romantic, typical family dynamic. I think he suits a QPR best

I think Trip is a bit young to know much about herself just yet, bUt I do think it will be so so cute if she has a bit of a crush on Amy because of how she treats Amy so specially in the game! When she's older, she could drive a subaru perhaps ❤️

METAL SONIC

My favourite Metal headcanons have been with an agender or transfem Metal. I think that part of what makes the story so good there is that Metal's gender is literally assigned by Eggman, and along with it all the expectations that go with it, so Metal rejecting the identity along with the identity as Sonic's copy is SO effective.

FANG

I don't have any I am hugely tied to, but I do think Fang has done drag. That guy has had to make many new identities to hide behind, and I would love to know about all of them ❤️ He won't tell anyone, but he had fun!

Okay this is someone I have very strong feelings on, I really really strongly prefer her AroAce. I can enjoy stories where she is flirting with or attracted to men or women, but realistically I think she is particularly flirtatious because she is modelling what she thinks attraction and attractive people look like, and possibly in canon timeline is on the cusp of realising that she really doesn't desire that kind of interaction outside of joking around with friends

I think he is probably primarily attracted to men, but still has enough attraction to women that he can cling to it and insist that he is not gay 🥴 I also think he would be too jealous to make a sensible relationship work in the present time.

WAVE

I do believe Wave is sapphic, possibly just because I don't think she respects men enough to date. I am not sure if she's aromantic, but I don't think she would actually like being in a relationship? Like I think she might not have the communication and conflict resolution skills as she currently is and would be a bit avoidant.

STORM

It's hard to tell because he's usually presented as just dumb and comedic, but he does seem to be flustered around women. I had wondered if he was aromantic, but that doesn't quite fit with canon behaviour. What I do think would be is vibe would be pride parades. Regardless of sexuality and gender, I just think he would have such a good time and be totally swept up with it all. Roll on story about Babylon Rogues' boat accidentally joining the parade while they're running from the law!
