Yes! I love that some of the dubs have fun and add their own little twists on some of the lines. I love the German dub's version of "The One Who's Running the Show" too! The filter they added to the voice in one part near the end was such a cool touch.

Oooo well first off I think he's adorable both design wise and personality! I also think he's pretty funny. When I first got into Sonic he was one of the few characters I gravitated to from the beginning. I find him pretty relatable, like getting really excited about things, being a little clumsy, drawing, I got in trouble quite a bit as a kid for talking too much/being too loud, mispronouncing words...and I'm also guilty for having a sweet tooth.

And!!! I think he's a great character that often gets overlooked (I would say underutilized as well-but that's a nitpick I have with the Sonic franchise overall; Sega stop making so many characters where the cast becomes too bloated there's so many characters with potential that you've shoved to the side). I see some people say that he's useless or doesn't contribute- there's been a number of great moments from him. In Sonic Heroes we see in a cutscene that he beats up Eggman by himself. And of course helping with the Metal Madness battle. Also funny thing about Heroes, you can complete most of the Chaotix levels with just Charmy. Baby boy really is carrying his team. He also played an important part in the true ending for Shadow the Hedgehog, as he helps in recovering Gerald's message (by doing something similar to what Shadow did earlier) while Espio and Vector were struggling to get things to work! Also he's so cute hyping Shadow up during his mission!

There's also Knuckles Chaotix + Metal Sonic Kai, but I won't go into too much detail because of Sega's whole classic and modern being separate, we have not seen the Chaotix shown in the classic era, but we know KC is canon because of TailsTube and Casefiles...it's in a weird spot with how it's treated today but I do think it's still worth the mention. Shoutout as well to Forces considering Charmy was part of the Resistance at such a young age, whether you like the game or not I think that's a significant detail.

I would like to mention he has some wonderful moments in the IDW comics too!! Partook in the Metal Overlord battle, has shown to be pretty selfless like in the Halloween one shot, bravery in the metal virus arc (even though this did lead to his downfall as he was being reckless, but we have to remember he's still a child), helped with exposing Clean Sweep, etc. Also has a big heart, and we see this throughout IDW as he sympathizes or shows kindness towards even antagonists.

Team Chaotix Week Day 4: Old Friends

Sorry if I'm annoying. I think you might like Sonic and the Blade of Courage, Sonic and Yuuta are the main characters. Yuuta is from sonic and the blade of courage an official Manga owned by sega. He is a great character and deserves more attention. He loves helping others to the point he is usually late for school which got him bullied, he is actually able to fight, he is very brave despite having self-esteem problems and a lot of self doubt, he is kindhearted but a bit snarky he is cautious but has gotten a bit more reckless thanks to sonic, he is getting character development and is going through a training arc, he is actually willing to fight, and he has some actual insecurities that make sense. Oh and his town including friends and family got petrified infront of him. Plus his sword is pretty awesome, it slows anything it touches for a bit. Yuuta is a good sonic character. Plus he got punched by a freaking Kaiju that could create ravines multiple times, got up after a little girl got into trouble and was the one to deliver the finishing blow. So he is far from weak or useless. He also isn't really annoying personality wise. Also this kid needs a hug, he needs so many hugs. Sonic and Yuuta kinda seem like brothers. Yuuta acts like Sonic is his big brother. Plus the blade has two forms other than it's inactive state, those being it's basically courage form which doesn't cut but instead phases through things and absorbs energy making things move slower, and it's true courage form which does actually cut stuff. The kaiju that Yuuta cuts in half was able to tank attacks from sonic and the Manga definitely takes place around the time of Sonic generations. Yuuta is deadpans a lot. Plus he is cute and some cute moments and a badass fight against metal sonic. Yuuta is kinda interesting. Yuuta gets very determined when needed and deserves more attention. There is also Princess Metstli. Yuuta kinda reminds of Tails. Yuuta can be a bit bratty but it is mostly through him being a bit snarky, he isn't hyperactive or anything like that. I think Yuuta would get along with Charmy. The two would probably play together. Plus Yuuta could help babysit Charmy. Well there would have to be an adult nearby, Yuuta is like ten he can't babysit Charmy on his own. But with an adult's help he could.

You're not annoying me, no worries at all! ♡ I've vaguely heard about a Sonic manga going on but I haven't checked into it yet, so thank you for telling me about some of it! I'll try checking it out soon ( ◠‿◠ )
