Looking to level up a lil bit faster? Catch as many pidgeys as you can, let’s say 100 of them. One pidgey will provide you automatically with 3 candies, so 100 pidgeys will leave you with 300. Evolving a pidgey will cost you only 12, that’s one of the lowest for a very common Pokémon. With 300 candies, you’ll be able to evolve 25 pidgeys, so transfer 75 of them(in doing so you will get more candies). Evolving a Pokémon will automatically give you 500xp, but if you were to have a lucky egg active while evolving you’ll receive 1000xp, all together you will receive 25,000xp in a short time, and that doesn’t include the xp from catching a pokemon, badges, throwing nice, or curveballs, ect, so you looking at, at minimum, 10,000xp just from catching 100 pidgeys alone without the lucky egg active, then 25,000xp from evolving the pidgeys with an egg active.
Seems a bit grindy, but if you wanna seriously level up, this is a nice way to have as a side thing when playing.
