Well, I’ve moved back to college. That took some time to get everything packed and unpacked. On the good side, college is probably going to help me get motivated to work again. I do want to rework some of my upcoming characters designs first though. And I’m still deciding if I should wait until after Sun/Moon comes out to use 7th gen Pokemon on the blog somewhere.

Full Name: Marceline "Marci" Shika Marugane Gender and Sexuality: Female, pan, though she leans towards guys more. Pronouns: She/her Ethnicity/Species: Mawile, Japanese (Equivalent, at least) Birthdate: July 2nd Guilty Pleasures: Singing, fancy perfumes, polishing her horn. Phobias: Losing loved ones, out of control fires. What They Would Be Famous For: Exploration, she would hope. Though her mother would insist it be in performance. What They Would Get Arrested For: Probably assaulting someone who wouldn't stop calling her Marceline. OC You Ship Them With: None atm. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: You kidding? You gonna fight her? Favorite Book Genre: Romance. Er uh, Mystery. Yeah, that's it. Least Favorite Book Cliche: Unnecessary horror. Talents and/or Powers: Exceptional leadership skills, singing, fighting abilities. Why Someone Might Love Them: Once someone's past her hard exterior, she's actually quite tender. She's also doggedly loyal and will put others before herself. Why Someone Might Hate Them: Quick to anger, overly stern, and prioritizes work over fun. Why You Love Them: Marci is my oldest surviving OC, along with James. I’ve had them for the good part of 6 years now. And that’s just something I can’t overlook. Marci also contains a lot of traits I wish I could have at times, like an opposite side of the coin. The confidence, the focus, dedication. And it feels nice to be able to channel that somewhere. It’s also James and Marci’s original stories that started me into the whole writing thing, so I have them to thank for my start.

Pronouns: He/him Ethnicity/Species: Tropius, European (Equivalent, at least) Birthdate: September 2nd Guilty Pleasures: Food, especially sweets. Bonding over a meal with a date. Phobias: Ironically, heights. He won't fly higher than a few stories off the ground. Also, spiders. And large, stinging bugs. What They Would Be Famous For: Maybe cooking? Oh and exploring, that's a thing. What They Would Get Arrested For: Probably stole a baby he thought was abandoned but actually wasn't, rip OC You Ship Them With: None, but he has had a few dates with a certain other Grass-Type in his guild. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Marci, over some shitty pun probs. (Nah, not really) Favorite Book Genre: YA adventure-y type things. They're what made him want to be an explorer in the first place. Least Favorite Book Cliche: Shoving in romance just to have it. (When it's done properly and adds to the plot, he enjoys it. Just not when the guy gets the girl just because it's another sign of accomplishment.) Talents and/or Powers: Can stay airborn for a really long time, can most likely eat more than you, can weave out of his own discarded leaves. Why Someone Might Love Them: Has a big heart, and is willing to devote a lot of time and effort to someone he deems worthy. Why Someone Might Hate Them: Too lax, doesn't always know when he needs to be serious, will bombard you with dumb jokes. Why You Love Them: James, or at least the various versions of him (There's also been a Chikorita and Bayleef version of him at some point) is my oldest surviving OC, along with Marci. I've had them for the good part of 6 years now. And that's just something I can't overlook. James is also a character I connect a lot with, and shares a lot of traits from me. I'm not saying he's a self-insert, because he's definitely got a lot going on that I don't, but he's the OC that I can relate to the most. It's also James and Marci's original stories that started me into the whole writing thing, so I have them to thank for my start.

Annie @ James: Hey, doesn't your kind normally have fruit growing around you somewhere? Why aren't they there, and what normally do you grow? Isn't it like your favourite fruit or something?

James: Yeah! We typically grow fruits of some kind under our chins!

James: Though I don’t know how it works. Some Tropius seem to be able to change what they grow, and then some like me only have one thing that ever grows in their lives. I’ve heard it might be something linked to your lineage? Or maybe what your mom eats while the egg is forming?

James: A-Anyway, I actually grow Aspear Berries, but I don’t really like them. They’re pretty big, and they make my chin itch when they’re budding. So I shave ‘em off!

James: We’re a rescue team! We delve into mystery dungeons to save stranded Pokemon who are unable to continue or escape.

Hi guys! You can call me Moss, and I'm the mod of the blog. I'm happy to finally get started here; it's been something that I've thought about doing for a while, but only recently decided I wanted to go through with it. But on to the main point of this post, I just want to say a few things about how this blog is going to function so no one feels like I was advertising something beyond what it's going to be. For starters, this is a mainly text blog. I have always been a writer, and it's where I feel more comfortable. My art skills can be slow and inconsistent at times, so I don't want to rely on them. There will be some art here, but mainly just when I feel motivated to do so. I have icons made for answers and such though, so hopefully that offsets the text a bit. Two, I want to give a warning that my attentions can fluctuate easily. I tend to bounce between things I'm working on. I'm going to try and be around here at least once or twice a day, if not much more, but if it seems I'm not answering, I may just be busy with life or be focusing on something else. Third, this blog is intended to be in a Pokemon-only universe. I am perfectly alright with things like fusions, subspecies, made up moves, abilities, megas, ect, deltas, and things like that. There might even be some of that in the future all things depending. But I will not accept interactions from non-Pokemons other than obviously anons. Nothing else exists in the universe and having them show up wouldn't make a lot of sense. Lastly, please no NSFW asks. I don't want to deal with those kind of questions, and if I feel like a question is inappropriate for any reason, I will not answer it. Okay, sorry that was a bit long!
