something this podcast made me realize about taylor. for as much as she “connects” with fans, does her little easter eggs— this podcast was the most… human? vulnerable? dare i say (i must) authentic she has EVER been. the only other time she came this close to being authentic and relatable was when she released miss americana. she had few brief moments of being vulnerable and personal in the doc and it was the most real i felt she had ever been. in the podcast when she started talking about her masters, her mom and dad and brother and started tearing up. i was taking a bath, mostly listening instead of watching, and i literally shot up and dried my hands just to go back a few seconds to watch it because i couldn’t believe how just… real she was being. i feel we get very few glimpses into the real taylor, the taylor that isn’t just “business” and “money” and “strategy”

i hope to see more of it
