「❀」 — Ceasing forward movement on hearing that familiar voice, Kanbaru shifted her torso in several directions, an attempt to find its source. And find she did — this picture of perfection to her side was clearly that beloved senior of hers. Of course. Who else could have threatened her in such a manner?
Setting her gaze upon the other, she returned such a greeting with laughter and a wide grin.
"I could likely ask the same of you, Senjougahara-senpai. For me, the simple answer of that question is that I am going back to my apartment, as it seems I have forgotten something. Such a casual blunder for a person like me to have made this morning in my rush to leave, I am not certain I am ready to forgive myself yet."
A pause. Her long twin-tails shifted as she tilted her head, her wide grin now softened as she raised an eyebrow at her senior. “Really, though, to think I’d see you again, and after all this time… Then, that must mean you’re doing well? I hope you’re doing well, Senjougahara-senpai!”
Retracting her blades she seemed appeased by the response she garnered from the girl before her. It was safe to say that this was indeed Kanbaru, and any doubts about it not being her were debunked.
Emerging from the shaded alley, she let out a sigh at the explanation. "I see." Came her short reply. As for the other assumption; it was safe to say Senjougahara was doing just fine. No physical harm had come to her, however the confusion and slight wonder that came with abrupt new surroundings probably did harm her psyche. In what way? Well, no one would ever know until 20 years down the road when it came out during a session with a therapist.
"You could say everything is copesthetic, besides the fact of wasting my precious time grinding in a low budget MMO that I have an inability to escape from."
