Hello again!
I decided I wanted to try and do the whole blog thing. So I thought why not use the tumblr I made god knows how many years ago! So here I am. I'm going to try and do a monthly text post explaining what’s going on in my life and stuff.
So it’s January 2016! Wow, I kinda feel like I'm living in the future sometimes! I mean it’s two fucking thousand and mother fucking sixteen!! When did this happen? I'm still using bonjela that went out of date in 2008 and I don’t feel like that was that long ago but it is 8 YEARS AGO?? WHAT??
Anyway..
So.. During the Winter I usually get a bit depressed but this year I figured I’d give Vitamin D tablets a go. It really is crazy how much of a difference it has made! I feel so motivated! Like all the time! I’d definitely recommend it!
I feel like 2016 is going to be a really good year for me. I’ve just been crowned Store Manager at work! Like they trust me with the whole store? I mean I’ve pretty much been doing the job for months now, I’ve only got to learn a couple extra things but still. I feel kinda grown up. Teatowl keeps growing in sales which is really good! And I’m starting to get really good at the whole work/building a business balance!
I think my problem is that I want to make everything! Some businesses only sell cards, some just sell tea towels, some sell Jewellery.. etc I want to sell all of those things! Which is quite a big work load when you don’t have lots of money behind you and have to have a full time job! Oh and a long distance relationship! I really don’t know how I’m pulling it all off! My plan for the summer is to pluck up the courage to try and do a craft fair of some sort. I think I might have enough stock now? Maybe? I just need to get some cool displays together.
So I’ve build a screen printing studio in my spare room and I’m making womens tees, mens tees and baby onesies and I’m also going to do more tote bag and tea towel designs soon! I started doing Jewellery! I got some pendants of my own designs laser cut for necklaces which I love! And I have loads of lava bead bracelets! I make cards too! valentine’s Cards are my favourite but I’m trying to get more other designs out there. I made pillows as Christmas Presents this year which everybody loved so I’ve got a few of those designs happening when I get round to it! Oh and I’ve just ordered some custom design note books! I can’t wait till they arrive! I just can’t do one thing, it’s impossible!
It’s all really scary but really exciting at the same time.
I really want a successful business but I also really want to watch Netflix :(
