As the pandemic takes a backseat and enterprises start opening up with big plans, technology companies brace for another challenge—shortage of skilled manpower. According to a report, at present, nearly 75% of technology companies are facing a difficulty in finding candidates with the right kind of skills.
The most in-demand skills that tech companies are looking for in employees are data analytics, AI and ML and digital project management, along with soft skills, among others. The key soft skills in demand are communication, critical thinking and problem-solving. To recruit, most employers currently want to hire skilled manpower and not freshers.
