8-20-2025: banner-related asks will not be posted for the time being. it's still okay to send them, but they will stay in the inbox until we come to a decision (context1, context2, context3, context4)
we won't publish asks that feel too over the line. don't be a dick. don't doxx anyone or use slurs or be too hateful. (ex. you can vent about someone being an asshole but don't use slurs or wish death on them)
we won't publish too off-topic asks. as long as it feels tangentially related to artfight (ex. artfight minigames, artfight discord, the blog itself, maybe some general art asks), we'll post it
no namedropping if you’re insulting the person, bashing on their crappy opinions, hating on them as a person, venting about how shitty they are. (ex. "god i hate user56's art style why'd they attack me" or "user56 is obviously art farming"). leave out the name and we’ll post it (if you don’t make it too obvious who you’re complaining about). if you criticize or insult this blog, we'll post it if it doesn't go against rule 1
we’ll allow namedropping for artfight rulebreaking IF there is clearcut proof and you stay factual. proof in the form of artfight/discord links is most preferred. we won’t post if you’re aggressively hating on the person or if mods cannot find enough proof. mods realize some artfight rules can be contentious. for the sake of objectivity, all asks about confirmed rulebreaks will be posted. readers can form their own opinions on the rules themselves
positive asks are welcome. we may allow neutral or positive name mentions, but we'll take it down if the person asks
we won't publish asks if your account name is attached. anon asks only (other drama blogs are an exception)
if a topic drags on and becomes especially contentious, we may pause the topic and post some of the asks later
