Samsung M20 Vs Redmi Note 7
If rumors are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy M20 and the Redmi Note 7 are gonna be competing against each other with the Redmi note 7′s fully specked out model costing around around ₹14000 and the Samsung Galaxy M20 starting at around ₹13000.
The Specs
So which one should you go for?
Considering that both the phones have almost the same hardware specifications (the 48 mp camera basically takes 12 mp pictures so we can’t really consider that an advantage), the final choice depends upon which software experience you’re comfortable with.Â
Personally I like MIUI better than the Experience UI because it is jam packed with useful features and the bloatware can be uninstalled so that isn’t a big issue. Also I use the IR Blaster a lot in my day to day life so that makes more sense.
Also, MIUI 11 was recently announced so expect even more features.
But what about the battery?
The M20 comes with a massive 5000mah battery, Samsung’s biggest battery. However, due to the Type-C port, Redmi Note 7 can offer Quick Charge (Quick Charge 4.0) which makes up for that 4000mah battery, which in itself should easily last you a day
But the Samsung looks better!
This is one area where Samsung defeats Redmi, according to me. While the Redmi feels more premium because of the glass back, the thin bezels and that OnePlus 6t-like water drop notch on the M20 just look a lot better compared to Redmi’s comparatively thick bezels and a not so good looking water-drop notch.
Which one would you prefer?Â
