Techie was leaning over his control panels when the door opened. He noticed his co-workers and strange, nervous silence fell over the room. Techie froze, too, whe he heard unfamiliar, confident footsteps getting louder.
He didn’t need to turn around to know who it was, but he did anyway. It’d do no good to greet Commander Ren with his back turned. Techie never met him before, but he heard stories and saw the damage the Knight owas capable of.
Tall, intimidating figure towered over him. Techie curled despite himself, and shivered in fear. He wanted to run but fear held him firmly in place.
“C-c-com-mand-der R-ren...” he stuttered out, trying to sound polite and unafraid. He failed and his voice sounded more like a squeak. Techie could only imagine Hux’s angered face if he saw his clone to be such a coward.
