Summary: Erastrus wakes from another disturbing dream, and unlike the others, they don’t receive much direction. Among new friends, they fear revealing their “condition” may result in judgement and rejection. The discussion of siblings piques their interest; as having no siblings of their own, they wonder what the dynamic is like. With varying experiences to cloud their understanding, they believe having this knowledge could aid in their assignment. Realities start to blur as they remain resolute in their search for a separated sibling. A mysterious body presents to the morgue, hosting a myriad of challenges for Kallamar and Narinder. A dispute ends in a bloody mess with neither finding resolution. Ember’s solitude should offer a brief period of tranquility, but it only causes her to spiral in her reflection. Ember and Narinder struggle to remain amicable as tensions rise in their own corners of Divinity’s Dirge. What started as a productive day, now ends with digging a grave in the depths of Darkwood.

So, i was wondering how your Shamura would react if the youngest of my Shamura's children, Lily, came up to them and asked for uppies

(though, since she can barely speak, she just does the grabby hands and has pleading eyes)

(please, keep in mind that her Mapa, my Shamura, is nearby and if your Shamura wants nothing to do with Lily, to please hand her off to them)

Shamura sees this as a favorable opportunity to train the impressionable— especially tiny spiderlings.

I’m getting way ahead of myself, but I have such lore for these two, but I’ll offer a summary of its/their situation:

Carrion is the ichor that eventually inhabits an imbued body. Naturally, the body wears, so Erastrus has to maintain this by collecting skin grafts from the graveyard. Sometimes when Carrion gets too excited, it bursts through its seams. Being that it never had a body prior, it’s a very difficult adjustment. In a cramped space, they’re learning how to control their body while they feel sensations and texture for the first time. It tends to get terribly overstimulating. Their skin is incredibly sensitive and often becomes excruciating. They live with chronic pain, which certainly has an impact on their relationship.

Carrion likes singing, and stargazing when their pain allows it.
