Black Acoustics || Andromeda & Teddy
Andromeda laughed loudly, so loud she almost snorted. She lifted her hand to cover her mouth, and averted her eyes so she didn’t get to see Teddy worrying. Dromeda did know some about James Bond — with the little information about muggles she’d been able to get over her life, Bond was the singular thing that was actually easy to learn about. With as much fame and popularity the guy had in the muggle world, Andromeda thought he was some kind of king or something at first. After she realized he was just some spy guy, she kind of lost interest in him, but his books were still currently on her to-read list. Dromeda looked over at Ted again, and their eyes connected. She rubbed her shoulders as she watched him, and noticed a concerned look in his eyes. Her eyebrows furrowed and she was just about to ask him if anything was bothering him when he stood up and walked past her. Andromeda got up as well and followed behind him, curious about where he was going… but Ted stopped at the log. He handed her a hoddie — no, not just a regular old hoddie, his hoddie — and after reassuring her about the coldness, he gave her a smile that warmed her body instantly.Â
Andromeda beamed at him, taking the sweatshirt gratefully. “Thanks, Teddy.” She said, in a light tone. Andy took it and pulled it over her head; although, it was a bit big on her and almost reached her knees. She looked down at her self and mock-frowned, but after a moment she laughed again. The sweater smelled like Ted, who smelled like most Hufflepuffs; like food, fresh from the kitchens. It was a sweet scent, like fresh chocolate, or any other kind of dessert, but it surely made Andromeda stumble over her thoughts for a few seconds. She laughed again, although this time it was a bit airier. Her eyebrows raised and she closed her eyes, still marveling over the savory smell — but she caught her breath after a moment and looked at Teddy happily. “Sorry, but this smells really lovely.” Dromeda said with another giggle, and patted him on the shoulder. She wiped a stray piece of hair behind her ear and then rubbed her shoulders again, trying to warm her body back to its normal temperature. While doing so, Andromeda looked over at Ted again and smiled. “Was it really so obvious that I was bloody freezing?” She asked.
That laugh. Teddy adored that laugh. Especially since he was the reason for causing it. Andromeda continued on and Ted just smiled at her, almost beaming.
"Of course." He spoke warmly as he watched her pull on his favorite hoddie. He enjoyed making people comfortable, but with Andy, it's that he wanted to, not needed. "You, uh, wear it better than I." Ted nodded in approval. The site of her in his hoodie his heart lighter. He ducked his head to hide his grin. When he looked back to her, she was sniffing the fabric. Why? He had cleaned it a few days ago with a simple charm. He had worn it majority of the time since then while in the common room or in his dorm room, so it must smell like him. Nothing was dirty on it, though his coffee mocha from this morning did spill on it, but that was only a size of a Sickle, and was not visible with the black color. Teddy gave a questioning look, but replaced it with an amused one after she she explained. "Glad to know my aroma is appealing to you." He teased, but it also made him ecstatic inside that she seemed attracted to him, even if it was his natural fragrance. "Not really, but the shivers and the rubbing of the legs cued me in." He chucked, "How about we sit in the sunshine, yeah? The heat of the rocks will aid in dethawing you." He sat in front of the log on the large stoned ground, leaning back, gesturing to the spot next to him.
Ted sat with his legs outstretched before him, one arm resting on the log behind him, chest turned to the girl. The rays of the sun and shape of the trees spotting light and shadows over them both. He turned his head and caught her eye, and helplessly formed a small smile of his lips. His luck was increasing. Andromeda was in his company, and they were alone, away from the judging eyes of the school and other houses. That thought alone made him at east, but also joyous that Dromeda was willing to be with him as well.
"So, my dear." The term of endearment slipping out off his tongue. "What would you like to do with the reminder of the afternoon?" Teddy easily held her gaze, she made it so simple to do so.
