Gambit Pinafore Dress from mood

The pattern itself is easy, what wasn't easy was matching the plaid across the princess seams! I got it pretty close I think!

My first step into outerwear! I used a felted double knit and a rayon challis for lining. Its heavy and warm and feels so cool to wear!

I did the buttonholes by hand for the first time, and I learned how to apply soutache trim. Overall a great learning experience!

I was an fly agaric mushroom for halloween!

I used a sunhat as the base and wrapped fabric over it, using stuffing to keep the rounded shape. Add some lace and spots and BOOM cute mushat!

Halloween Quilt!

I'm super proud of this one! I used a free block pattern and just went to town. Its far from perfect but it was a lot of fun and its super cozy and nice to have around now. I hand embroidered the faces onto the cat and pumpkin blocks for some added cute details.
