New piece, new post! 🙌   Oh man, I can't stop staring at my latest wall hanging 👀. The colorful dyed bandings of this statement piece are just a feast for the eyes. The ombré starts with a beige to soft pink, separated by a brownish shade and then proceeds to run to light blue and turquoise hues. The end of the fringes are dipped in a gray/brown melange, to counter a bit of the bright colors 🎨. Make sure to swipe to see a close-up!   So what do you think? I’ve got something beautiful to show you and I’m so excited! 🤗 You’ve already got to see a little sneak peek of this piece last Friday, and today I was finally able to finish it. I’m proud to showcase my latest work, commissioned by @liacoronado 😘 I love everything about this piece - the satisfying color pallete, the movement and flow of the fibers, the diagonal placement. And it even has gold in there! I mean what's not to like? 😉   This piece has a similar style and shape as the fall-colored wall hanging which I created and posted the other week and I gotta say, I’m just utterly in love with the modern and contemporary look of these fiber artworks. It's quite unique and in my artistic opinion, it has a certain elegance and sophistication to it. I’m even thinking about starting a collection. What do you think, should I go for it? Hi e-friends! 🙋‍♀️ Thankfully I've been feeling a lot better lately and I'm currently working on a couple of exciting custom pieces. I love working on multiple projects simultaneously, it keeps me from getting bored or distracted and often while I work on one piece, my brain gets a creative spark for another 🎇 Funny how that works... Breathe in... breathe out... this is just a quick reminder for all of you to try and relax and to step away from what you’re doing. Take a minute to focus on your breathing, maybe also do some stretching or even yoga to let the stress out. It also helps to visualize a calming image (or just stare at this picture of my work 😉). In today's frenetic and crazy world, it’s more important than ever to create a calm and peaceful space that allows you to recharge. I'm so delighted with this lovely soft-blue & turquoise fiber art which I created the other day 💙 - this is a custom version of my original CASCADE wall hanging. You might remember that I also created a red CASCADE a while ago, for my client Marta (definitely make sure to check out my stories for the client picture and for other versions of this piece 👀). Just finished this custom-sized, contemporary macramé wall hanging - Titled ~ ‘Raw River’ I often create quite colorful fiber art, but this design has a lot of neutrals going on, which is great to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The different textures of this abstract piece are also just really cool, wouldn’t you agree?
