Yan can't be the only artist working on Senran official art. Given the sheer number of arts for both New Wave and games in general, the man would be overworked doing all that every week. Sometimes the artstyle in New Wave changes beyond just an evolution in style, and the newer game official art looks vastly different from even new NW stuff, so...

so there’s new magazine for new wave. a volume 2 if you will. which basically has info and art on most of the characters. still haven’t found a source with the complete book or even volume 1 so my search begins for them.

Chihiro turned his head and rested his cheek against her stomach. He made friends by simple virtue of kindness- as a result though, he had no confidence in anything. So maybe it was a little easier to make friends with Angie, who had bounds of confidence regardless of it’s source.

“Indeed he did, though it was more of a suggestion. Angie had mistakenly eaten too much and noticed an increase in mass while painting. It just hasn’t stopped since because its so enjoyable. You are a good testament to that fact!”

Continuing to stroke his hair, she doted on him as if she were a mother to a child. Her belly wobbled a bit as he turned to look at her, causing a soft blush and a giggle to erupt from her plump lips. “You are free to ask about Atua and how to worship him at any time you are comfortable!”

They were there in a flash- or maybe he just felt like that because he was lightheaded from all this affection. Chihiro barely registered her offer to sit before settling himself down onto her lap, resting the back of his head against her belly. 

“… When you talk about things like that, it’s hard to understand… But when you’re so loving like that, it feels… right. Your love is very large…” Among other things, of course.

“Yes indeed. I find this form to be more fitting and accommodating to Atua’s power and will. In time, you will understand Atua and his love and guidance. But good things come to those who wait patiently and take their time to understand. So says Atua, after all!”

She lightly stroked his hair as she peered at him over the curve of her own belly. Her cheeks flushed softly as she watched him relax against her. To be used in such a way, and become so friendly with this boy in such a short amount of time, she was overjoyed. For someone without a lot of friends, or any at all in fact, she was glad to be of use.

“Yes yes! This is a wonderful idea. Perhaps the dining hall would be good. I do require a bit of sustenance to maintain this form for Atua’s will after all.” And with that, she began leading him off  towards their destination.

The trip would be swift, which contrasted Angie’s softness and size quite a bit, but they arrived in a timely manner regardless. She sat herself on a bench with a sigh, allowing Chihiro to join her. She pat her lap softly a few times in invitation. “Come sit with me, my tiny friend.”
