Canard is a push over who tries to please everyone and avoid conflict at all cost. He fails to realize his own agency instead going with the crowd or what he think would be the best for everyone, excluding himself of course. He has a very nervous energy that is show in his constant adjustment of his stance like how someone wearing roller blades might to keep balance. He really doesn’t want to make friends more so he doesn’t want to rock the boat. I really don’t see him interacting with the canon performers instead being part with a totally different group of doomed folk based on my friends’ OCs. (I do this mainly because I feel there’s a major overlap between him and Gangle/Ragatha the role of the story, not that he’s exactly like her but more so he has a similar ish arc of learning to respect himself. Also Jax would bully the shit out of him) Also being in a wacky toy body brings many downsides one might imagine! When moving (either by his own will or others) he makes little quacking noises separate from his voice. If he holds his breath for too long he falls apart like when you kill a guy in lego starwars. Pulling his cord feels like being pulled by a rope wrapped round your chest while in roller-blades, disorienting and even painful if done sharply enough. Despite his unique arms he can in fact “hold” things kinda like how if you become a cow in GTA V you can still hold guns, it doesn’t make logical sense but what really does here? Also despite no rendered mouth he can talk just fine a la Zooble. In the real world he was a 22 year old getting his degree in finance not that he has a real interested in it but more so he heard there’s good money in it and his parents really wanted him to go to college. He had some “friends” who loved to do stupid shit and often pulled him along as someone who would do anything asked. One night they broke into the C&A building for cheap thrills but easily got bored and left, without telling Canard of course. By himself Canard finds the headset, slaps that puppy on and boom! His name is Canard and he can’t escape the Digital Circus.
