AXINITE! GARNET + PERIDOT FUSION CONCEPT. notes below...

axinite EXUDES confidence. she knows just about everything there is to know about anything, and one of the biggest things she does know is that she's *the SHIT.*

given peridot is a counterpart (and her existence as an era 2 gem who isn't quite as capable of form manipulation as any other era 1 gem would typically be,) axinite is a bit unstable. however, this doesn't manifest in her physical makeup: it manifests in the "hourglass" shape of her hair! as the "sand" trickles down into the bottom "bulb," axinite's existence draws closer to its end. when the "sand" has completely filled the bottom "bulb," axinite will simply split apart no matter what.

the mixture of garnet's strength (among other things) and peridot's ferrokinesis makes axinite a formidable foe!!! she is able to naturally produce/manifest ferrofluid over her fists and harden them to act as "gauntlets," aiding her in battle (they're really sharp, watch out!) additionally, these gauntlets are electrically conductive, so she will utilize the ferrofluid as projectiles and electrocute your unsuspecting ass!!!!!!!

garnet's future vision is altered with the addition of peridot. rather than traveling through multiple branches/streams of timelines, axinite can focus on the potential timelines of specific individuals!!!! i like to think this is because of peridot's anthropological interest which results in axinite's heightened perception of specific people rather than things places and events LOL...
