Stepping Away.
this is a post I never thought I’d have to make, nor do I particularly want to. But considering the recent statement made by cc!pyro I think it’s best that I do so. I’ve done my very best to not let personal opinion on fandom discourse bleed into this blog, but when it reaches the levels dictated by cc!pyro, especially when it comes to threatening to send harassment against others for participating in such a basic aspect of fandom as shipping, I do draw a line. As of now, I don’t feel like the fandom space being curated by cc!Pyro is one I can feel safe to create fan works in any longer. On top of that, I don’t feel especially inclined to continue watching his POV of the flight, as much as I did love the story being told. That leaves me in a difficult situation with this blog. I’ve had nothing but the best of times running this blog for the last few months. It was my first time running an roleplay blog and I’ll forever cherish everybody I got to interact with through it. I’m going to genuinely miss you all, and I’ll probably end up making more such blogs for other characters and projects in the future but for now, this blog will be going on an indefinite hiatus. You are all always welcome in my inbox or DMs over @1v0ryqu1lls, and I wish you all a bit of peace in the storm that is the MCYT community.
