Alright, so in just under three weeks I will have finals, so I won’t be on tumblr until that’s over. It’s just as well, this emison shit has made me really upset (primarily about being lead on) so I need to distance myself so I can get some clarity and focus on school as I am graduating soon. Marlene saying, “We’ll always have Paris” is not a reference to Emily and Alison’s “sweet Paris” chat. It is a reference to Casablanca, a classic film, where he says to the woman he had a BRIEF romance with, “We’ll always have Paris.” This means that they will always have their memories together but they won’t be able to be together. Marlene was not giving hope to emison fans, she was hinting that they’re not getting back together.
