We have been doing this to farmed animals for decades. We have chickens who grow too fat to support their own weight, cows who can’t reproduce without being artificially inseminated, turkeys who can’t even survive outside. As terrible as these pictures are, this is simply the logical conclusion of the belief that it is okay for an animal to suffer so long as humans benefit from it. This is the exact same ideology most of tumblr, and I’ll bet most of the people condemning this practice, consistently defend. Either manipulating, exploiting and killing animals for profit is wrong or it isn’t; we can’t pick and choose which animals matter and which ones don’t based on whether we’d prefer a burger or a fur coat.

Lesbian Vloggers Stand Up to Haters Who Say “Wrong One” is Pregnant Because of How She Dresses
Vloggers Domo and Crissy are a beautiful couple who are expecting their first child — a son — very soon. The couple have 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube, so it’s easy to say that they are very much loved. And yet, despite their following, they’ve been hit with some horrible comments recently.
Domo, who is carrying their son, has been targeted by some on social media for being the “wrong one” in their relationship to carry their child. Their reasoning behind this? Because she likes to wear sweats, joggers, caps, and “dresses like a man,” as some of the haters have said. These trolls believe that Crissy, who is more “feminine” in appearance, should have carried their child.
Rather than ignore the haters, Domo stood up for herself and her family and posted a picture on Instagram with an inspiring caption.
“I am a woman. I am a woman who always wanted a child,” she says. “Who cares that I am not the ‘normal’ look of a pregnant woman. I am Domonic’s mom and I am proud!”
Domo goes on to point out, “Like you people cry all day ‘don’t judge’ or ‘I hate when people judge’ but are the MAIN ONES.”
At the end of the post, she speaks to her unborn son: “One thing I will teach Domonic is to always be himself and to stand up for himself! So Domonic, mommy is sorry that you have to be born in a world full of hate, but just know that I will do my best to protect you.”
And she obviously will. Domo shared a few weeks ago a letter she had written to her future child four years ago. She says, “Mommy loves you! You will have two moms, but that’s double the love!”
