“GHOST” Number Station- been on the air for several decades. Recorded summer of 2017 using a Flex 3000 radio. These stations seem to be transmitting from locations within the old Soviet Union. They have been transmitting almost daily to what is believed to be intelligence agents operating within other countries world-wide.

TelescopeMan demonstrates the low power reverse beacon WSPR, located inside Joe Taylor's great decoding software WSJT-X.

This software along with a web site "WSPR NET" plots all the radio signals heard by amateur radio operators from  around the world.

Flex 3000 SDR- running Ke9NS software

TelescopeMan does an updated video on some of the revisions made to PowerSDR software by KE9NS for Flex radios. The revised software is simply outstanding, and does not exist in any other amateur radio.

TelescopeMan demonstrates an FT8 contact and discusses some useful check boxes in the WSJT-X software. He also logs the contact on QRZ and Eqsl. FT8 is a great digital mode to use during solar minimum or if you have a marginal antenna.

I'm looking for information about an item gifted to me without a user manual: A Bushnell Night Vision Zenit IR-2. I believe it needs a battery, and I don't know how to open it. I've searched online for a user manual, but no success. Keep in mind: I'm a female & don't hunt...hate to say, dumb it down, but basically, dumb down the info for someone who doesn't know the nomenclature. I'm using this to check out a bear problem. In advance, thanks. Aleea
