Dendrobium Pygmy Chip I just acquired this cutie yesterday, its loaded with flowers and buds and has about 16 canes! Each flower is only about two inches across, its truly a nice miniature plant. I’ve been wanting a latouria den for awhile >w<

Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite It has a total of five spikes, and these super cute tiny little blooms smell just like vanilla >w< Unfortunately however, I believe this is a seedling of that cross, so it bloomed far more white and Twinkle-like than Tsiku Marguerite is supposed to. It still has a very faint pink blush in the center, and its so pretty, so I dont mind too much
About a month or so ago, in the parkinglot of my mom’s salon I found these cute and strange mushrooms growing on one of the little islands. A week later, I return to this spot to find them on their side, inside out, reduced to an oozing shiny black sludge after the rain.
Oncidium Irish Mist ‘Big Hot Sun’ It just came into full bloom today, and I notice that it has a very faint, somewhat sweet fragrance
Phalaenopsis Pinlong Cheris
Neofinetia falcata Amanogawa ‘天の川’ I just got this very recently from Seed Engei at the SF Orchids In the Park event without any flower spikes and yet it is already making buds for me! It has eight fans and bright ruby roots. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites
My Neofinetia falcata Amami Island bloomed for me with 11 flowers!
Astrophytum capricone x asteria
My cute, everblooming Antherium! It always provides some good color to the shade window, especially when nothing else is in bloom
My nana’s plants on her balcony months ago when I had visited. Its such a peaceful little area. The tall one in the first photo is 30+ years old!
your orchid is stunning! the coloration is just wonderful
Thankyou, I appreciate it! c:
My big african violet is also blooming, this is the first time i’ve seen her flowers since I got her out of bloom, and im really happy with the color and ruffles! c:
She’s in full bloom, and really beautiful!
guys what do you think?
a friend of mine asked me to suggest a house plant that is hardy (which “even an idiot can look after and won’t kill it” she said, lol). oh, also she said she’d be glad if it was something colourful maybe pink, lol. I can’t happen to decide on one. she’s kinda going through a rough time and it’s actually her birthday today, so I thought I might as well buy her one. lemme know if you have any suggestions at this point :)
Pink Anthurium comes to mind.
I know that she already decided on a plant, but for the future what about an Aglaonema, or Chinese Evergreen? c: The Aglaonema Sapphire Suzanne has beautiful bubblegum pink stems, and there are also other varieties that have speckled pink leaves. I’ve seen them for sale on Etsy.
Another colorful type is Calathea. Most of them are darker greens and purples, but there are some varieties which have bright pinks. Calathea ornata is beautiful, it has pink stripes on its leaves which, in person, look like someone took a gel pen and drew it on from how solidly colored it is. Another pretty one is Calathea Triostar/Tricolor. It has beautiful color-blocked leaves with deep burgundy undersides.
If she ever wants a pretty hanging plant, then Wandering Jew is a wonderful houseplant. The regular one is purple-toned, but there are also types that have beautiful pink varigation on them so its a big mixture of purple, pink, and green.
If you cant find any of them in person, then purchasing online is always an option. c: Etsy has great sellers, and the reviews on their pages will tell you everything about their service. There are also a lot of wonderful sellers on there who sell succulents and cactus!
Neofinetia hybrid
I have no idea what the flowers look like on this one, it was my nana’s as a recent gift but she gave it to me since I could take care of it better. Its incredibly beautiful even without flowers and it has a really lovely large root system. I’m super happy to have it! c: It’s flowered many times before, and has plenty of little nubs started in the leaf folds to bloom some other year. Hopefully i’ll see what it has this year!
The largest bud on my bigger african violet is getting color now! I’m so excited for it to bloom, I have no idea what the flowers look like since I was given it as a rescue out of bloom.
Neofinetia falcata - Tenkei Fukurin (left), Kogane Nishiki (right), Shutenno (back)
My three neo babies soaking up some sunlight. I used to keep them at my shade window, but now they’re at the sunny window to get more color. I really want my Kogane Nishiki to color up a lot and get really beautiful and golden. :D
