In my head I like to believe that they have a family together. And that the little jeankasa baby is a girl. I just can’t imagine what can make Jean more happy than have a miniKasa.

Not to sound like a bitch, but Mikasa doesn't deserve Jean. He's too good, too patient for her. He's loved her for years and she's still hung up on Eren, even after he becomes a monster. Jean deserves someone who loves him and if Eren does die and Mikasa goes to Jean for comfort, it's gonna feel like he's the "consolation prize".

But the thing is Jean doesn't care, he loves Mikasa even if he knows she loves Eren and he respects that. Yeah he was shown to be jealous and start a fight a couple of times, but he never tried to diminish Eren image in front of Mikasa to make himself look good. When they were in jail he said that probably Eren had a reason to behave that way and in the last chapter you can see how much he suffers telling Mikasa they have to kill Eren. Jean loves her, even if he knows she loves someone else, he just wants her to be happy, that's what selfless love is about.

And I really believe Mikasa cares about Jean, even if she loves Eren of course, she cares about her other friends too. You can't insult her just because she's in love with someone else, someone who saved her life as a kid and who she had loved since then. You can't expect her to change her mind immediately, but we've seen her being affected by Eren's actions and if you think it's not enough, we'll probably see more of that in the future. Who knows what she will decide, but as much as I love Jeankasa I recognize that Mikasa just forgetting about Eren right now wouldn't make sense, because her relationship with Eren is an important part of her character.

And what's wrong with Mikasa falling in love with Jean after he comforts her? He wouldn't be a consolation prize, it would just be Mikasa moving on from Eren and falling in love with someone else.

What I love about Jeankasa is how much Jean cares, even if his feelings are not returned, he still protects Mikasa and supports her, he's not trying to "get the girl", because, as I said, he doesn't try to separate Mikasa from Eren, he just loves her and wants to see her happy, even if it means letting her go. And if Mikasa becomes closer to him and they get together I think that could be really sweet.

It’s not a lot, but I just finished watching Red shoes and the 7 dwarfs and I really recommend. It’s pretty good and in my opinion, there’s not a single drop of body shamming :)
