“Yes. Priceless…” Her voice curls as it fades off. Ino’s always been a fan of good illusions. This, though? Hm… it feels a little more complicated. –Of course, she isn’t going to just tiptoe around her peers, or Shikamaru specifically for that matter.  People who waste their time making the wrong moves just have to learn the hard way that keeping what you want CLOSE to you is the best way to keep it from being STOLEN.                                  “So, then. Let’s do it. Let’s date.”                                        Wasn’t it… ‘go on a date’ just a minute ago?                 “  

             She closed her eyes for a brief moment, an arm curling around the mindwalkers waist to pull her close, “--sure.” The words came out of her mouth quickly--almost blunt in tone. “Konoha has me coming and going with Shikamaru a lot for diplomatic reasons so you will be seeing me enough for this to maybe work.” 

                 She had to say maybe--Temari never worked with absolutes.

Ino

“I suppose not. But— okay, admittedly, I kinda thought the same way for a while there.” Oops. It was a nice feeling, then. Being this close to Temari. Sure, their first close-encounter had been in the depths of inebriation, but this one seemed to be going smooth, regardless. “I guess he’ll get over it. At least we didn’t leave him with the bill, right?” The fingers of her free hand sink into the woman’s hair.                   “Hey. We should… I dunno, do a date sometime or something.” You know, after they get their heads out of the bedroom.

      “--when I left with you last night, that was what I was going for.”  Truth be told, Temari didn’t initially have her eyes set on Ino. She always thought the Kunoichi was hot, but aside from that nothing more. It was only when everyone began to push her towards that specific man, that her interest in doing the opposite of everyone’s expectation began to set in. She wanted to shut everyone up about her romantic life permanently. 

            “--I can already imagine the look on everyone's face. Priceless.”

“Yeah,” laced with a provocative tone. Fingers abandon their hold on the wine and come to lace with Temari’s own. “I feel kind of bad that we left the bar on our own without telling him, but… I guess shit just happens.”  Humming, now.                                                 “I’m not too close, am I?” 

         “Not close enough.” she said in an equally proactive tone,  shifting herself closer to her, “--I personally don’t feel bad at all. I was getting tired of hearing everyone always pushing me towards him. They really don’t know who I am, do they?”
