I finally drew them!! And in four days no less… maybe that’s normal for some people but I usually take forever and procrastinate a bunch and don’t finish anything that fast so! This was fun :3 I used my gel pens to clean it up

I will definitely draw them again I think, or at least I’ll draw Hector more often, he’s so fun to draw<3 I do need to get better at drawing old men and not just anime twinks anyhow… I do think I’ve improved at least a little with proportions compared to… older art I’m not gonna post ever

I imagine Nuru as being very calm and composed. Considering she's a storyteller I feel like she'd be a good liar. Because of this I think it's unlikely that the rest of team radical knew she was a princess at first. Also since her character is connected to the stars, she'd be good a crafting herself for the audience. Stars appear different based on where you look at them from, and what time of year it is, after all.

ok so thinkin' what if VaT7K was happening in Varian's mind, while he was trapped in the amber to process the fact he was slowly dying

the characters and what they represent

Hugo is the feeling stuck between wanting to be forgiven and loved, and still hurting from betrayal

Nuru is the distruction Varian caused, and the feeling of helplessness and guilt

Yong is the fear that he had lost control, and would never succeed

Donella is the blame Varian places on others to cope with the blame he puts on himself

Cyrus is the distance between Varian and the life that will go on without him

Ulla is the final struggle against death before the acceptance Varian makes with his fate
