no. your target market is not everyone.
I love being able to meet with people to learn more about their business. I get engrossed with hearing what drives them - why they do what they do.
As soon as I start meeting with someone, the gears in my head start turning + I try to think of the perfect connections for them. It’s part of my passion for why I do what I do.
But there is one statement that makes me lose interest real fast. When I ask people who their target market is, they say ‘everyone and anyone.’*Ugh.*

Remember what I said about connecting people? If you are a referral source for others and lead them to someone who is their perfect fit, you sit better in their mind. It's a win/win.
Once you make the switch, you will network in the right places, you will be marketing towards the right people, and you will grow your business.
So make a pact right here, right now >> I will no longer refer to my target market as everyone and anyone. (click to tweet)
