「 Hand It To Ya 」

I was inspired to figure out what real-life metal (metal alloy) would be feasible as the exterior of the original arm. In multiple wikis, it's listed as titanium, which, cool. Except that I really didn't think it could be pure titanium. Pure titanium is relatively strong and lightweight, but it doesn't stand up well to cold temperatures. So, I did some digging, and I'm thinking it's Ti-6Al-4V, an alpha-beta titanium alloy first discovered in the early 1950s in the US. As shorthand, I'll refer to it as Grade 5 alloy.

Grade 5 alloy works well in both high and low temperature extremes, is (currently) very common, and is used in medical implants and prosthetics. It's not magnetic and doesn't corrode easily (even in the human body). I can't figure out how conductive of electricity it is. (Not for lack of trying.)

Grade 5 is composed (primarily) of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium.

Shit's fucked and the kids aren't alright!

I'm covering for a HS math teacher (Algebra 2 and Trig w/ Advanced Algebra), and she has math lab duty (math help from the teachers in school). I....spent 45+ helping a kid with geometry...he kept trying to go for his chromebook to use it as a calculator (for things a high school student shouldn't need it for).

2(3x+1) does NOT GO OUT TO 6x+3. Where did you get 3? HUH?! WHERE.

"What is 176-16?" *closes his laptop* "Okay, good, now what is 160 divided by 10?" *has to explain how we divide by 10 by moving decimal points*

"What is 18 divided by 3?" "What is 14 divided by 2?" He kept guessing random numbers!

You may not use this in daily life, but you still need to be able to function without a calculator for simple stuff! Please!

I'm in this assignment until Thursday, and then I switch to another teacher in the same department for Wed-Fri next week. He teaches Precalc and geometry. Save me.
