Rules Beneath Cut
This blog is selective and mutuals only. I get overwhelmed very easily and replies sometimes take a bit of time so i prefer to keep my following small. I use small text, but will be happy to adapt to the style of my partner. Icons may vary from reply to reply, depending on if i’ve made them.
I am multiply disabled, both physically, neurologically, and developmentally. I am frequently in a lot of pain and severely fatigued. One of the conditions I have also makes it very difficult to translate thoughts into written word, and often times I will frequently spell things wrong, misuse homophones, homonyms, and the occasional grammar mistake. I ask that unless you sincerely cannot understand what i am saying that you please do not bring this up, as it is very discouraging to me. Likewise, my short term memory is also very very poor (because of this, I ask that you please hard block to break mutuals), and I frequently have problems with social cues. I also ask that if I do something out of line that you please bring it to my attention so that I may apologize, as I may not have realized that I have done so.I do understand that this may be a lot to ask, and will not fault anyone for choosing to forgo following this blog, but I will also not deal with those who willingly ignore this rule. Thank you for taking this into consideration before you follow.
All historical muses are 100% fictionalized portrayals with roots in various media, not portrayals of the real life individual. I do not do rpf.
I tag all triggers the best I can with trigger tw. Due to the various source materials, this blog has a blanket warning for incest, and drug abuse. This blog also deals with things such as active warfare, miscarriage, child death, suicide, age gap relationships (though i will not write anything where the younger party is below the age of 18), and other sensitive topics. The things I write on this blog do not equal what I support in real life, as mun does not equal muse. Characters like House and Tyrion are prone to inflammatory statements. I also strive to respect the boundaries and triggers of my partners. Everything will be tagged accordingly. I do not tolerate ooc racism, ableism, antisemitism, or islamophobia. I will block freely . As well, with regards to the characters of Aerys II and Maegor Targaryen, I am not here to romanticize, excuse, defend, erase, or woobify these characters and their actions. Rather I am here to a) offer other writers a character to work with and b) add nuance to while not defending the character themselves. Additionally, please do not assume I am not critical of any source material that I take my muses from. I am well aware of many problems with series such as Thomas Harris's Hannibal book series, Law and Order, and A Song of Ice and Fire, for example. That being said, I will never force my writing partners to interact with fandoms they do not wish to interact with.
I am multiship and generally non selective, but tentatively open to exclusives (two of each character) and mains if we mesh both ic and ooc and have spoken about it. I am also happy to interact with duplicates and sometimes have verses specifically for doing so. I am also happy to interact with oc children and spouses of canon characters. I do not force ship , even characters that are together in canon. (though political marriages may be alluded to) That being said, I love pre-established relationships and shipping. I'm a hopeless romantic unfortunately. In addition i do not force familial dynamics with my ocs and am happy to discuss other arrangements.
I do not tolerate vague blogging. I am willing to ignore it once or twice but if it is a habit I will break mutuals. In addition, with the obvious exception of my writing partner's abusers, I will not tolerate personal vendetta's or extreme negative behavior or policing of who someone interacts with, especially if that involves repeatedly circumventing blocks to see who is writing with who. I find this type of behavior to be very stressful, and will not tolerate it.
As I am an adult, I will only write with people over the age of 18, and due to personal preference, I will only write smut with people over the age of 20. Happy to engage to fade to black otherwise, however!
Discord is available for mutuals upon request however i HAVE to note that i am very very very bad at replying to DM’s sometimes. It isn’t you, I’m just painfully shy and have a very limited social battery. Please do not think I’m ignoring you or that you’ve done something wrong (i would tell you), i am just disabled and limited in my ability to keep up with long term back and forths.
All muses on this blog are primarily headcanon based, with supplements from the various source material as needed. Many of these characters I have roleplayed in some way, shape, or form before on this website, whether through solo blogs or multis. If we've interacted before, PLEASE let me know. My memory is very poor. With some, like Sabe, my canon differs greatly from the current canon and despite similarities, it is one that i have built by myself through months of writing her. While I do not mind doing threads around things in current canon, but please keep in mind it is not my default verse. In another example, while I am open to roleplaying with film and tv show based muses and ideas, my Clarice Starling is 100% book and headcanon based, and only takes from Silence of the Lambs and NOT Hannibal, the novel. My Clarice is also Black and Jewish, which shapes her interactions with her character in the novel.
