"You have a very good point, you can never be too prepared. Um, no actually. I never knew exactly what I wanted to be, I just knew I wanted to help the world somehow, you know, make a difference. That probably makes me sound like a bit of a loser, but yeah, I wanted to do some good and my friend studies medicine too, so it all kind of fell together."
"Fingers crossed."
"Not at all. I think that makes you sound like a someone who has a great sense of honor and concern for others. There needs to be more people like that, in my opinion. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful doctor someday. I'm sure it helps to have your friend along with you. I wish I had gone to university when I had the chance."
Oh, I haven’t met him, but I haven’t met many people since I haven’t been in town very long. Well that’s kind of you to say so, honestly I could do with something to do and somebody to talk to. Well that certainly makes sense to me.
He's quite the interesting character. Oh, you've just moved here? Where are you living? I can understand. I always have to find something to do with my time or else I'll lose my mind.
"Oh no, I’m an actress!"
"He must be a very pretty boy then, like a pixie! You should definitely get him a wig, I’m sure he’d love it."
"An actress?! That's an exciting profession. Are you stage or screen?"
"I don't know if he'd approve of me calling him pretty, but he's nice looking. He's got a slight build, so I guess that's as pixie-like as he can get. I imagine he wouldn't be too pleased with me if I did that!"
Oh the cello, lovely instrument. I commend your taste! Well, I suppose life has a habit of doing that, we never really do end up where we mean to do. Well if you can make time, I don’t have much on and I can offer you a helping hand to learn if you ever need it. A new one? Oh that sounds lovely.
Thank you! A man by the name of Lestat Lioncourt had it restored for me. It’s even more beautiful than when it was brand new. That’s very kind of you. You would probably be a much better teacher than my brother. Mhmm. The one we have has seen better days, so I thought it was time for an upgrade.
It is beautiful! Well, you could always start now, what’s stopping you?
I think I'm better suited for the cello! I guess life just got in the way. Maybe I can make time now, though. I've actually come here to browse for a new one.
"Yes, I’d be happy to help you! Everyone should have the perfect blanket fort for storms."
"It must be amazing to have an identical twin, you could pretend to be each other like in that movie… The Parent Trap!"
"You're a sweetheart, Sheila. Thank you. So, are you in school?"
"My brother and I look pretty similar for fraternal twins. I guess if I put a wig on him, we could make our own Parent Trap situation!"
"For fun? Wow, that’s impressive nerdiness."
"Ah, no worries, all that old-fashioned, hipster stuff is fashionable now, plus Madeline’s a beautiful name, old-fashioned or not. And thank you, I have to say, the same goes for you."
“
"I was quite the nerd in high school. It helps to pass the time at least. Also useful to know in case of emergencies. Have you always wanted to go into medicine?"
"I've noticed they're coming back in style. Thank you. I think one of my great aunts was named Magdalena. I suspect that might be where my mother got the inspiration. Let's hope it continues that way, huh?"

"Oh, I love those, they’re so cute. I’m an expert at making them, I would say."
"No, they don’t. But you’ve left me a good impression of twins! Have you ever met any other twins?"
"I think I remember how to make a decent enough one. If I get stuck, I can always ask you for tips, though!"
"I'm glad to hear that. I wouldn't want to tarnish anyone's image of twins. I've met a few over the years. Mostly identical ones, though."
For a long time, since I was a little girl - I’ve always loved to play.
I love the piano. It's such a beautiful instrument. I wish I had learned to play it.
Oh, oh no you aren’t! Thank you, that’s kind of you to say so.
You're quite welcome. How long have you been playing?
"Oh yes, and the loud thunder. It’s horrible, my ears always hurt and I don’t like that much… obviously."
"It shows they care, but he thinks he knows better than me and he doesn’t at all! Oh, twins? That’s so cool, I’ve never met a twin before!"
"When I was little, I would make a blanket fort for storms. It seemed to help. Maybe I should make one the next time one comes up."
"I can understand that all too well. Brothers are odd creatures. Well, I'm glad I can be the first twin you've met! They don't seem very common in Walpole."
I hope I'm not disturbing you, but I wanted to tell you how lovely you play.
"No, no, I’m not a big fan of the dark. I don’t like storms, that’s silly."
"Oh no, I’m not offended at all! Jim is one year younger than me, he acts like he’s older though. What about your brother?"
"Storms can be horrible. They always have the tendency to knock out the power, and I always freak out over that."
"Good! I think all brothers act that way at times. Must be something to do with their testosterone. My brother's the same age. We're twins. Technically, I'm older by around 8 minutes, give or take."
