The Shrek and c!Techno parallels list:
Large and intimidating, scaring away their neighbors and has overall terrible reputation. Gets kicks out of scaring people
While other characters possess cool magic powers and supernatural abilities, they are both just really Strong™ and kick ass
Lives in the absolute middle of nowhere in a basically uninhabitable area
Recruited by banished inhabitants of a nearby country to negotiate with the tyrannical leader that exiled them
Said leader (Farquaad and Schlatt) is overall self-obsessed and abusive to those around him
Desires solitude, but people keep showing up at their house so they can't be alone and learn THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP™
Dehumanized by their enemies, but understands their own self worth despite this
Begrudingly compassionate towards their allies, is kind despite their appearance
Overall not so great social skills, but very funny and sarcastic
Does not take their own wanted posters seriously
Almost executed but survives
c!Tommy is donkey. They have the same comedic dynamic holy shit we've cracked the code
Drives people away thinking they don't need them, but ends up finding a group of friends that they can be happy and fulfilled with
The only significant difference between Shrek and c!Techno is that Shrek has a romance with Fiona, and c!Techno is immune to romance and will actively YEET away from any remotely suggestive interactions.
