Ah, crap. Did he catch her? Was she making herself more obvious with her hands behind her back? Probably. With so many new sights and so many well preserved things that it was hard to resist.

“I was just...buying some paper!” Which wasn’t a lie. “Lord Maxi,” she pleaded, “...it’s really fine paper, something I can continue to write my poetry on. It’s so smooth and fine for calligraphy too!” Not as if she could go back home and get paper from there. Actually, she’d write letter back to her mother...if she didn’t think she’d be so pissed that she’d throw it away.

“There’s so much to see on this journey, I must take souvenirs as I go.”

   FEATURES SET INTO A FAMILIARLY CHILDISH FUME,her daughter would surely stand out in any crowd that she was in. But no, now was not the time to actually gush about her own BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER– when said beautiful child had nearly given her a heart attack for running away the way she did! 

   It had taken much persuasion, for her husband to allow her to go on after her. Only unless she would allow a few soldiers to accompany her (Certainly more discreet than the entire Ming Army). Now, they weren’t necessarily too far behind, but, if she had continued on with their pace, Xianghua knew that her child would have once again moved onto the next place before she was able to catch her.

   “Yan Leixia! Don’t you move from that spot!”

This would have been any normal day if she didn’t hear an oddly familiar voice yelling across the market. Maxi, Natsu and Xiba were all doing their own thing, just as she was looking at some affordable new paper that she could use to practice her writing.

It’s what she had in mind originally, but that went out the window immediately. Leixia turned towards the yell, not even having to look to know exactly who it was.  “Mother!?” What the heck was she even doing here?! How did she find her? Why was she so loud around all these people?

Crap. Running didn’t seem wise, but standing here wasn’t great either. Placing the paper back onto the merchant’s stand, Leixia ignored some of the stares as she made her way towards. She didn’t get within standing distance however, simply enough for her voice to carry over. “Mother, what are you doing here???”  Man, how tempting it was to leave and pretend she never heard her; guess she should face the music now.

I’m actually surprised I still have Leixia as a blog. I am proud for not deleting her giving up, which I do sometimes. Just delete without saying anything XD. But anyway! Apparently I like popping on here from time to time so maybe I can figure out something to write tomorrow. I’d play some SCV to get back in the spirit, but it’s in storage just like everything else sooooo....writing.

“Oh? But he seems so nice!” It wasn’t often she could pet a tiger of all things, despite her home life. To be given the chance now was truly a miracle. Xiba would be all too eager in getting the chance, though she had a feeling the tiger wouldn’t be so gentle with him.

“I’m grateful he doesn’t mind us admiring him, then. What’s his name?”
