Movie Sonilver and it’s them going on a cheesy first date that Sonic set up for them after they confessed to one another. He based their date activities off of guides he took from Youtube, Google, movies he saw, and Tom & Maddie’s romantic advice to him. Basically, really tacky and typical stuff you would see in corny date scenes from shows and movies. It's for sure awkward between the two of them as they try to navigate their date, and some things definitely don’t go as planned, much to Sonic’s disappointment. But by the end of their date, they still manage to have fun anyway by trying to make do with what they got and by focusing on what did go right. They even decide to make fun of their date mishaps; They giggle and laugh while poking fun at each other. It may not have been picture perfect, but to them, it was everything and more.
I’d imagine that Sonic would try to flirt with Silver by using pick up lines he found on the internet, and this one specific phrase that he learned from Tom. He even tries to come up with his own too. However, most of the time it doesn’t land due to Silver taking everything to face value. Silver eventually does pick up on it later on in the date and tries to flirt back in his own way, but before he did, Sonic would quickly try to remedy any of his confusion by playing it off, and contemplating his life.
They would kiss on this date too, towards the end of it. However, it’s a really quick and chaste kiss (due to inexperience and nervousness) that will leave the both of them equally flustered (and yet hopelessly wishing for more anyway). It's the kind of kiss that wasn’t necessarily meant to be the best, but it was meant to say how much they love and adore each other. The kind that makes them realize how right this feels. How much this means to them.
Also, I’m still on the fence on some of the places that Sonic would take Silver on during their first date, but to start off, I was thinking that one of their date spots would be Sonic’s old cave. To sum it up to something short, I like to think that it symbolizes trust and vulnerability between them. I would have to go further into detail to really explain what I mean by this, but I am a little lazy right now. Sorry guys. Maybe another time.
Other places I’ve thought about is this one, incredibly niche restaurant in town that Tom and Maddie recommended to Sonic. Tom took Maddie to that same restaurant when they were far younger, and way before Sonic even arrived on Earth. It has been a place they’ve gone to for dates since then, and Tom figured that he could let Sonic do the same with Silver. It's a nice, quiet place, and the family that owns it knows the Wachowskis. Tom figured it could start a Wachowski family tradition as well.
Maybe they’d also go to a tall mountain that overlooks all of Green Hills and the forest surrounding them. I like to think that Sonic decided to take Silver to such a spot because he wanted to show him the beauty of nature in the town and what it has to offer him, especially since he recognizes that the psychic loves to cherish the greenery in this world. Sonic adores the excitement and the smile that appears on Silver’s face.
There’s still so much more that I want to add to the idea of Movie Sonilver on their first date, but I can not think of anything else at the moment. Maybe someone could add onto this or change things up a little…cough…cough…who knows….
