I’ve been thinking about how in Rivals everyone’s sex scenes are so explicit except for Tony’s. like obviously this is a David Tennant choice (I would imagine) but the thing is i find his sex scenes way more impactful to the story as in they’re very kinda cinematic looking and we’re not just having characters have sex for the sake of it like 98% of his encounters are moving the plot forward while others it just feels like they need an excuse to see how far they can push it.

I’ve been saying for years that streaming shows needs to pull back on the explicit sex especially because half the time it’s not at all needed in the plot. Like cool 2 characters are dating i don’t need extended scenes of them fucking. i just feel like we’re wasting time on things that can be valuable to the plot.
