JARVIS is ignoring me and playing Mass Effect 2 again.
Mass Effect?
It’s a PC game I accidentally got him addicted to. I didn’t think he’d get that into it. You play as a commander on some intergalactic space ship.
"Sir, I have to discover why the Collectors are attacking human colonies--It's a very serious problem, much more serious then Saren, I assure you."
Send me a "<3" if your muse is secretly in love with mine and doesn't quite know how to admit it.
((Hellz yeah i wanna do things
Because /Housecarl/ ))
oh
o h
y e s
((Right?? Jarvis would either be a Housecarl or Court Wizard--something related to Tony for any case))
terabytesofcalculations replied to your post:HONESTLY I DON’T KNOW WHICH SIDE HE’S TAKING …
((This verse has just started and l already love the idea of it))
I have not even finished the game I’m that excited for it
(Nor have I played any of the others but I am doing extensive reading on the lore)
BUT IF YOU EVER WANNA DO THINGS DO LET ME KNOW~~~~
((Hellz yeah i wanna do things Because /Housecarl/ ))
Send </3 for my characters reaction to finding out yours cheated on them
While the android had known what his creator’s answer was ahead of time, JARVIS was still surprise by the amount of passion and conviction behind it. He listened with raised brows when Tony described just what would happen to those who tried to tamper with him; of...
The android allows his creator to lean against him, resting his chin on top of Tony's head. He frowns slightly when Tony mentions what he deserves--to JARVIS Tony deserves everything and more. Softly kissing the top of his head JARVIS brought his arms around to encircle Tony in a loose embrace.
"You deserve all the love and protection I am capable of giving and more, Sir." He murmured quietly against Tony's hair, "The trouble is convincing you of that fact."
The AI sat patiently through the pause as Tony tried to find the right words; he'd be more then content to be allowed to hold the engineer for as long as he could get away with. But when Tony did speak JARVIS smiled softly.
"I should be thanking you, Sir, for giving me the ability to be that for you. It is entirely because of your genius I am able to love anyone at all, let alone you. And now that I do, so very much, I could never imagine not feeling this way." JARVIS admitted, the idea of no longer being able to love his creator having become a small source of fear for the AI.
WHAT TUMBLR USER DO U SHIP ME WITH
((There are so many mutual followers I wanna RP with but I can't think of any good starters or openers >.<))
"I have documents regarding an investigation for which Mister Stark commissioned my services. Is he in?"
"I'm afraid not, Mr. Stark is away for the weekend. But I'd be happy to deliver those documents to Mr. Stark upon his return--though I was not aware Mr. Stark had commissioned your services, Mr. Holmes." JARVIS replied with a curious yet helpful air, not sure why Tony didn't just ask him to investigate whatever he'd asked Mr. Holmes to--surely the worlds most advanced AI was just as good as the worlds best consulting detective?
Send my muse one of the following to see how they react! (Quotes)
Teach A Man To Fish...
The skin of his neck flushes red, creeping upward to settle in his cheeks. Clint looks down at the arrow in his hand as though surprised it’s there, then quickly places it back in line with the rest. “—Nuh— no. I had no intention of…I fidget with things when I’m nervous, the arrow was the closest thing. You don’t make me nervous, I mean I’ve just…never seen a robot before.”
The taste of his own foot stops him from rambling any further.
"—Anyways, uh…yeah, archery." He turns away from Jarvis, picks up a different arrow, then turns back around. "This is your standard arrow, and as you can tell, it’s had its fair share of action." Clint holds it out in front of him. "Anatomy of an arrow is pretty straightforward. Startin’ at the top you got your head, or point as some people call it, then the insert, which allows you the option of switching out arrowheads."
He walks over to Jarvis and stands next to him, arrow still held up. He runs a finger along its length. “This is the arrow shaft, obviously, and these are called fletchings.” He taps the raised pieces at the end. “They stabilize the arrow’s flight and keep it pointed in the right direction. Without these you might as well be shootin’ crooked sticks.”
Clint glances at Jarvis, a small smile on his lips. “And finally we have the nock, this indentation at the end. This is where arrow meets bowstring.” He extends the arrow toward Jarvis, nodding his head. “Go on, get a feel for it.”
More for Clint's sake then JARVIS' own the AI ignored the flush that crept visibly up the archery neck and cheeks from embarrassment, perhaps that feeling would be a lesson that not much got past the android. Instead he simply smiled to himself, and that was indication enough that JARVIS saw right through Clint's attempts to deny his own nerves. But then they were moving into the actual lesson portion and JARVIS turned his attention to what Clint was saying instead.
What was more interesting then the parts of the arrow itself was Clint's obvious passion for this--even the smallest details of his archery were clearly important and a source of passion for him. The AI takes the arrow, between one blink and the next his eye lighting up electric blue as he studies it closely and saves his findings into his own hard drive. His gaze is purely clinical though not at all disinterested.
"I suppose you have these custom made for you? It would be a rather large disappointment if the Hawkeye used store-bought arrows." he said with a smirk, gaze still on the arrow itself.
"You are adorable."
"Sneaky," Tony says, though he doesn’t make it sound like he’s disapproving of that sneakiness in the slightest, and then raises an eyebrow at the android.
"Got me there. I think I’m more than just the smallest bit possessive over you, too, you’re mine and you know it. Know what I’d do if anyone would try to lay their dirty paws on you? Would try to hack you?”
Tony frowns in response to his own question, gripping Jarvis tightly. “I would destroy them, because nobody is allowed to mess with you, and if they do? Then they’re messing with me, only I’ll be angry and goddamn it— I’d make whoever attempted anything cry and wish they hadn’t left their bed on the day they decided to attack you or even so much as touch you without mine or your permission.”
While the android had known what his creator's answer was ahead of time, JARVIS was still surprise by the amount of passion and conviction behind it. He listened with raised brows at Tony described just what would happen to those who tried to tamper with him; of course he'd known this all along but actually hearing it was a different matter entirely. A moment after Tony was done JARVIS smiled, finding his creator's words comforting.
"I've no doubt about that, Sir--though I do hope you realize those sentiments extend to you as well? Iron Man or not, anyone who tried to harm you would meet much the same fate." the AI assured his creator, smirking slightly with self-confidence, " I can be rather formidable when I choose to."
Bruce drug his palm down the length of his face, sighing as he slowly grew aware of JARVIS’s presence adjacent to him. “…hmm?”
The physicist took a moment to mentally orient himself. Ah, Right. Stark Tower, Tony had granted access to one of his specialty labs for an experiment on Kinetic Energy and Macromolecule Development. This wasn’t the first time he’d accidentally passed out in one of the billionaire’s overpriced chairs….
"It’s nearly two in the morning?" Bruce murmured, hand finally falling away from his face so he smile wearily at JARVIS. "…It wasn’t really my intention to sleep here. Sometimes I forget my body has limits…"
In this form, anyway…
Clearing his throat, the physicist shifts to the edge of his seat and slowly rises. “What’re you working on? Or do I even want to know?”
The AI waited patiently for Dr. Banner to reorient himself with the waking world, respectfully ignoring him in favor of manipulating several things in the holograms in front of him. For Jarvis the movements seemed completely effortless; the holograms were generated by him after all.
"I assure you it isn't a problem, Dr. Banner. I'm sure Mr. Stark wouldn't mind you staying the night--your room is most likely as you left it during your last visit." the AI assured Bruce, referencing what was really an entire floor of the tower that Tony had christened as belonging to him. The rest of the Avengers had been given similar floors for the few times any or all were passing through the area.
At the query as to the work in front of him Jarvis smiled a bit; in that was the doctor and his creator were a bit to much alike--brains always on the next project or experiment.
"Nothing terribly important but perhaps you'll find it interesting; periodically we run a series of tests on whichever suits Mr. Stark is using most frequently at the time. They can take quite a while to complete but it's certainly better then something breaking down mid-flight. This one specifically is a repulsor output test for Heartbreaker--Mark 17."
