Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ocatillo Desert Camp. A temporary pop-up camp in the Arizona Desert that was built while him and his team worked on San Marcos In the Desert—a hotel project that never came to fruition. The camp was designed in a day and built within 6 weeks.

This is a pretty good summary of 2017. It was a busy one, filled with touring, traveling, moving, setting up a new shop space, and all the real life in between. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Going into 2018, I’m going to be putting this project on hold for a bit so I can focus on my other creative duties/endeavors. Stick around though—I’m planning on putting things up for sale from time to time, including some samples/seconds that I have tucked away. Stoked to come back to this refocused and refreshed when the time is ripe ✌️✌️✌️ Oh and 明けましておめでとう！

Back home after several weeks on the road. We basically only have backpacks in stock right now. I have a bunch of random catch-up I need to get to before I can make anything to put up for sale. I was definitely planning on having more stock for the holidays but such is life 🤷🏻♂️. Who knows, I may get to make a couple things. Keep an eye out here if you’re interested. On somewhat of a brighter note (literally), I just had these doors/windows put into get some natural light in this space. Still some construction that needs to be done but am digging the vibe a lot more already—much less cave-like.
