Wonderful Plums poster (Cudowne Śliwki)

I designed the poster for the theatre production “Cudowne Śliwki” (“Wonderful Plums”) by Teatr Młynówka — a moving story about a teenage girl who sets off across the country with a bag of home-grown plums, determined to help her struggling family and change their fate.

The new Apple Watch 10 has been a hit, and its Flux watch face is gaining a lot of attention. I appreciate its sleek design, but I can’t help but feel that it could benefit from a balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Complications—those handy shortcuts in the corners of the screen—add valuable context, displaying info like the date, battery percentage, weather, or activity. Unfortunately, Flux skips them entirely.

So, I decided to experiment and see what Flow could look like with added functionality. Here’s what I came up with!

American Flyers movie poster

American Flyers is a 1985 American sports drama film:

When Marcus realizes that he and his brother David may be prone a fatal brain disease that runs in their family, he invites him on a trip to the Rockies. There, the brothers bond over their shared enthusiasm for cycling and decide to enter a grueling bike race through the mountains. However, Marcus' health soon begins to fail…

Design background:

The creation of this poster coincided with developing the visual identity for a cycling podcast run by my friend. Both projects share a procedural texture designed with the nuances of poster production using "screen printing" in mind, while also reflecting the dirt that is an inseparable part of cycling. This texture also conveys a sense of dissonance present in both the film and in the reality of illness itself.

The portrait of Queen Margot that I crafted seamlessly marries the elegance of freehand drawing with the precision of the digital realm. This fusion not only captures the intricate details of her regal countenance but also reflects the duality of her complex character. Much like the queen herself, the portrait navigates the nuanced intersection between traditional artistry and the contemporary digital world, creating a visual narrative that resonates with her multifaceted persona.

Monografia Zabrzega do roku 1939 – book design

I did this project while working in Ultrabrand studio in Strumień (Poland). I did the whole design from choosing the fonts, designing cover, title pages, to drawing tables, infographics, creating page composition & edit photos.

Blitzortung iOS app redesign

Blitzortung is a simple iOS app for monitoring lightning-strikes at nearly realtime. It can be used for watching and monitoring Thunderstorms.

I really like this app and I use it from time to time, but… it’s ugly. So – as a designer – I decided to give it a one day makeover and see how it’ll turn out.

The idea about this set was to create specific style that feels like the illustrations were scratched on the surface and those scratched lines are creating portraits of people with various skin problems.

Projekt mapy dla Świetlicy Krytyki Politycznej w Cieszynie.

"Projekt mapy powstał w wyniku spacerów w poszukiwaniu miejsc, które pojawiają się oddolnie i spontanicznie. Często nielegalnie lub na granicy legalności. Zazwyczaj nie są jednak usuwane. Równocześnie obserwując Cieszyn jako pole wyznaczania pewnych terytoriów (np. Przestrzeń prywatna czy pół-prywatna) można zauważyć, że poza miejscami zaimprowizowanymi przez mieszkańców powstają też obiekty, bariery narzucane z góry. Wiele z nich zamyka możliwość włączania ludzi do decydowania o najbliższym otoczeniu."
