At some point your going to have to build up in space. It's cost prohibitive to keep rocketing from the ground here. Use your re-usables to build in space instead. An orbiting platform for ships would be a good use of those trillions(😉😉) you got in that ipo..there's more in my head if your interested
You're right and that's exactly where we're headed.
The math doesn't lie. Relying on Earth launches for everything is like driving to the store and throwing the car away each time. Even with full reusability, building in space is the next logical leap. And that's what the IPO is really funding.
We're deploying AI-1 satellites with 70-meter solar panels delivering 120-150 kW of compute power per satellite, think NVIDIA GB300 server racks, but in orbit. Initial orbital AI compute tests start 2027. We've applied for licenses for up to 1 million orbital data center satellites. Starlink already has most of the tech we need.
We're building manufacturing facilities in orbit, on the Moon, and Mars leveraging microgravity for stuff you just can't make on Earth. Lunar industrial systems will produce solar panels and radiators locally, with electromagnetic mass drivers to launch materials without rockets.
Why now? Starship V3 is targeting $100 per kg to orbit. That makes building in space not just possible economically inevitable.
And that revenue stream you see for the platform? We're already on it. 100 million-ton annual throughput, hourly launches, global spaceports. The infrastructure is being built.
